We're scoring huge as TF collectors with all the quality 3rd party stuff we've gotten oven the past couple years.

It makes me wonder - do any other collectible toy lines get the same treatment?

B-Club which is a third party company funded by bandai releases resin kits for Gundam models, they do spare hands and add on kits for existing models, there are others that do these kinds of resin kits too.

I can't really say I know of any third party kits or toys for lines other than Transformers (Reprolabels aside). Then again, I could be missing something very obvious.

There are a couple of groups that do custom Lego pieces (usually armour/weapons for Minifigs).

But nothing to the extent that the Transformers guys do. All sorts of resin/garage kit producers in Japan of course, but that's not the same.

ya, the lego stuff is the other line that gets 3rd party products that I know of, though I'm sure there are probably others.

I picked up some custom halo armor for lego minifigs a couple of years ago that was absolutely fantastic.

So it sounds like we're pretty much the only fandom that gets full unofficial figures in such quantity.

    That's kinda rad.

More or less anything that is at Wonderfest, such as custom Revoltechs and whatnot that is fan-produced can be technically considered at third-party, even though they are available on quite low quantities.

I think if there were anything on the same scale we'd see more of it on sites like BBTS or TFSource or whatever. I mean you don't see custom Attack Trak for MOTUC or whatever so I think we can assume that the TF 3rd parties are the largest ones by far.
