couldnt help but notice that all 3rd party stuff is either fairly large, such as

    Igear MP Seekers
    Igear Ironhide/Ratchet
    Warbot Defender

    Are armors, like

    City Commander
    Protector Armor
    New one for G2 Prime
    Devastator

    or are tiny, such as

    Most of PE's stuff
    Igear&FPs minibots
    Causality Collosus (sp?)
    Random Accessories.

So my question is: Is it tough to make Deluxe-sized robots? outside of various Arcees and maybe the new insecticons, I can't think of any deluxe-sized 3rd party products. anyone know why?

Because Has/Tak seems to do a good enough job catering to our deluxe wants, I suppose.

Isn't Defender pretty much Deluxe size?

Actually, it makes me feel good that PP-05 is projected to be the same price, but is a little beefier.

Defender is on the larger end of a Deluxe sized toy, but could be called a smaller Voyager in that sense too.

He's not quite Lockdown, but he's got a good heft to him.

Closer to Voyager I'd say, especially since some recent voyagers have been shorter than some deluxes. (Ani Bulkhead and Lugnut for example)

I think it's in part to keep in scale. The Igear jets are, I assume, in scale with either other MPs or their Faith Leader version. FP's bug bots and all the new minibots look to be around scout class, which makes sense for them to be in original scale with the Classics deluxes we have. And the Armors.. well, they kind of rely on the size of who they attach to.

Also is may come down to cost. FP's scout-size figures run around $50, so they may not want to go bigger to keep costs reasonable.

    This.

Plus, the one of the first serious complaints people will levy on a deluxe figure is that it is too small.

i just thought it was funny that they didn't even seem to be trying to make a deluxe. Obviously the ones that have come out already have been the sizes they are because it makes sense for them, but i was more getting at "they could have made a deluxe-sized guy yet havent" type of point
