I should really get around to editing down some photos of Slurdge with my WST Slag and Grimsy. They looked excellent together, though I did forget to close Slurdge’s forelegs! xD

Also, I had to do some mods to Slurdge...

First, I loosened the two bot elbow/Dino hind knee screws a third of a turn, or so, with a palm sized wratcheting screw driver, since my phillips head jeweler’s screwdriver was not doing anything but stripping the screw head. They were impossibly tight out of the box, so I don’t even know how it was shipped like that, honestly.

And, I had to sand down the peg for his bot wings/Dino back, since it was not closing up at all.

Meanwhile, I really hope that MFT’s Grimlock did not get lost at the LA Airport. I’m kinda surprised that HZJ beat ShowZ in this instance, but maybe I should blame FedEx.

 

I am very happy MMC is going to do larger versions of the Autobot cassettes. That frees these guys up for the tiny scale collection. They scale similarly as the MMC do at the MP scale.

Yes there is. I am not sure how I feel about those... I like the birds to be smaller than that and the combined mode is pretty big of those two. Maybe someone will do a tiny pair that combine. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

 

I was thinking of getting of them but the only chance iv had was the all black redeco which I wasn't really feeling. I see what you mean about the birds. Pretty sure LB was smaller than ravage or rumble

How bout a little 3rd party / Hasbro cross discussion.

I'm sure we've all noticed by now how the WFC:Siege figures and Iron Factory figures share a common love for 5mm holes and accessories.

Figures from both companies are just covered in ports and all the weapons will be cross compatible.

I'm looking to attaching a couple black IF weapon / hover tank drones to Megatron and seeing if any IF figures look good 'weaponized'... maybe IF Ultra Magnus + Siege Cog? Ultra Magnus even has 5mm ports on the bottom of his feet, originally for Blaster's cassette drones to act as power up boots, for some of Cog's pieces to go on.

 

Sometimes, I wonder if I should get a new Magnus, or Sixgun and Slammer, or Blaster, Steeljaw and Ramhorn for the old accessories, but it’s not a priority. Or, really—someday, I should get a used, or maybe unopened, set of IF’s Perceptor & Soundwave, and friends, to get a copy of the old bits.

Then again, if IF could chuck wood release spare flight stands, then maybe they could find it in their hearts to produce some accessory sets, too! *o*

Meanwhile, a few Lionizers and a couple Air Strike Patrols should blend into my tableaux quite nicely, whether they’re milling or slashing about.

And, I may get the Rescue Patrol for the love of TF:Victory, even if I like Boater/Seawatch and Clipper/Hyperdrive/Gingham just a bit more.

I’m also thinking of getting and maybe doubling up on the Spy Patrols to go with WFC:S Soundwave, so he can he have his buddies and a shield of Ravage and a heart of Laserbeak, though that’s all still more of a maybe.

But, I could also see using Laserbeak’s and Ravage’s shield modes being used as bits of defensive cover for MasterMade Trypticon’s base mode, like in a “cover shooter” video game such as Gears of War or Epoch.

 

It just occured to me that since Unique Toys finished off the first batch of Headmasters for their Palm Collection, that they could now maybe do the Headmaster Jrs if they want to keep the Legends Headmasters train rolling. Just a suggestion for anyone from Unique Toys that might happen upon this thread.
