So sad that these kits for ROTF Optimus Prime Leader's mold just seem more and more underwhelming. The connection/grip they have with the hands just seems to deteriorate/remain insufficient, and it feels like KOs doing cookie cutter molds of existing weapons instead of 3Ps trying for a new sculpt or new idea. At least this one was nice enough to do the liberty of LED lights

I need help guys, I know there are all these accessories for the ROTF Leader Prime, but I am getting the KO MPM-04, and I want to get some Burning knuckle Spikes for Prime's hands, Along with an Axe, and hooks like the ROTF. I would also possibly like to get the Jetfire upgrade whenever that comes out. I keep seeing pics of the proto in white on the bot, but no word or mention of the release date. So here's my big question fellow TFW2005 Members, what are all the accessories coming out for MPM-04? I'd love a list and run down on what they are, and the quality of the product manufacturer. If I'm gonna spend money ordering 3P accessories, I'd like to know the company producing them does good work. I'd hate to get some accessories and have overspray issues, or weak plastic issues. I know, I'm still apprehensive about 3P merchandise, but that's from experience. Please let me know thanks.

 

Too early in the game, man. I'd say give or take another year before there's a flood of items for MPM-4

• Prime Star PS-M02 Hooks: Very good quality. Seem to be very durable. Consult @Jhund for the endless possibilities with the strong grip this set has
• MR Bucket's kit (link above): Personally, I find it very underwhelming. As noted by the reviewer, there were miscalculations on clearance that don't allow him to peg the swords into the hands well. In addition to this, the knuckle busters are less innovative than ROTF's, having now become a separate piece instead of a built in feature

I'd say wait out the KO MPM-4 first before hunting for accessories. There's really not much available for the figure right now, and there has been no progress on the Jetwing upgrade

 

Dang, alright thanks for the link. I'll check them out. I suppose it's better to wait, maybe they'll do a good weapons transforming trailer too like in ROTF.

 

Adding on to mr bucket colour match wise might work ok-ish for MPM4 hasbro but the shine kinda looks off, really gotta wait for lt-02 to make a call unless you want to go through a full repaint.

 

Personally I want to see how HasTak intends to handle DOTM Optimus Prime. Really don't care about the stuff like his trailer, shield, axe, knuckle busters etc. for now because he never used those weapons in the iteration that MPM-4 represents (TF-07 and ROTF)

I really hope Devastator is next in line for AA. I'm very curious to see how they handle the individual robot modes for each component and whether or not they plan to make him in scale, which would be pretty dang huge. He would be 3 feet tall. It better have some killer ratchet joints if that's the case.
