What would you all think of a small add on to Classics jetfire, to make him appear more like cartoon skyfire? The only real change would need to be his red-thruster pack. Perhaps something to swap out in the nose cone area.

I'm a big fan of how Skyfire looked, and while Classics Jetfire is 90% of the way there, I'd love that last 10%.

This seems something right up Perfect Effects alley.

Hmm, seems like it would be such a small change it wouldn't be that worth it.

There are other things I'd prefer 3rd parties turned their efforts to, such as a Gears of War-style weaponry set for Beast Wars figures!

I never viewed the Classics mold as missing much, so I don't think I'd be very interested in an upgrade set.

I think Classics Jetfire has enough add-on parts as is.

I'm happy with Classics Jetfire. It offers a lot in terms of accessories.

Yeah, I feel the same way. But I could be wrong.

BUT... that Beast Wars weaponry set would kick as. Dinobot needs his shotgun. And Rhinox needs his gatling guns.

I don't think he needs new accessories. He needs arm and leg joints that are more properly placed.

I love the Jetfire mold, so I would buy add-ons for it because I do love it, not because I think it needs anything.

The arms are fine, minus the lack of biceps.

The legs are terrible. I hate that jointing method. Looks terrible in most poses, and the toy ends up with stumpy looking thighs.

I'm really not that huge a fan of the mold as a result.

Glad to see I'm not the only one underwhelmed by that mold, heh. I still think it looks cool enough, but the fact that I can't put it in any kind of interesting pose makes it a bore. For a while, I was planning to buy Treadbolt, just because I wanted to show my support for Hasbro and buy anything they put in Universe, even if it wasn't a new mold. But I couldn't bring myself to buy that mold again after Jetfire and Dreadwind, and that ultimately lead to me allowing myself to skip other Universe toys, too (like Galvatron, ugh)

The other killer is the doofy looking helmet.

Classics Jetfire looks much better without the armour, I find. Without it, he looks a lot less stumpy.

Not sure I 'd want any add-on for Jetfire, but if I had to pick, I'd say some extra leg armor that matches with the arm guards and provides extra support to offset the weight of the backpack.

Not worth it. If you want a more cartoon accurate Skyfire, get the Henkei version.
