I just figure it be a nice touch to see the 3rd film base on Cybertron rather on Earth again and possible see a cool ship battle against the Decepticons and the Autobots.

So I ask you guys this... Space or back on Earth for the 3rd film?

A mix IMO, maybe they'll have to return to Cybertron to uncover the plot device. A battle above Earth's atmosphere would be cool too.

IF unicron is going to be "revealed or part" of the TF3 story i would view some sort of return to cybertron to either battle unicron or to obtain some sort of tech or device to use against him...and maybe as a twist on the G1 movie...instead of unicron going against cybertron...maybe he makes a go for earth instead....maybe to avenge the fallen's disappearance or death, if he is going to be tied in as a herald of unicron....

It would be too costly to have the movie set in Cybertron for an extended period of time, but maybe a little while on the planet could happen in TF3.

I'm going to guess Earth since many of the human actors were signed for a three movie deal so unless the Transformers have either space ships that support human life and do faster than light speed, or space bridges then it would sort of hard to get the human cast to Cybertron.

    Cybertron plz.

But if they DO go back to Cybertron, it's unlikely that the human characters would be able to go along.

Unless we get the Ark. o.o

I don't think space/Cybertron alone works for this live action movieverse, but I DO think they can balance it more. Treat movie 3 like season 3 of G1 AND season 3 of Animated..introduce Rodimus, Ultra Magnus and Unicron...:)

I could picture Cybertron being the set for the final scene/battle.

I think they need to keep it on earth. Keep the robots on our planet interacting with things we are familiar with (i.e people and landmarks) rather than going too sci fi and putting it in space or on another planet...

I think a mixture of both earth and cybertron would be pretty freakin' sweet. I'd say if they did want to go there, that doing multiple story lines that converge at the end, would be cool. Just like the first movie, and possibly this one by the looks of it.

Have maybe a team go to cybertron (consisting of maybe 2 bots and 1-2 humans at most) for something while the majority of the cast remains on earth continueing the fight.
