that sounds like a new eating disorder... and thunderblast does sound good...but what if her name is Flare Up, and the combined is Elita-1! that would actually be cool...or vice versa...i may do that either way...

Flareup is just a dumb name all together. its like something from a Preparation H commercial " Hemroids starting to FLAREUP (in flaming letters)? Reach for preparation H ". It just a bad sounding name all around . Moonracer is ok but i like Elita-1 best. Dont care what the comics said, didnt read them. But ill be hapy as long as it's not Flareup lol
Let's just end the debate completely and call the third bike "Sexy O'Sullivan". - or Susan. I hear that name's available.
I heard some one say that someone owned the rights to moons racer some guy whos initials are RB and some king moonracer and also elita-1 is not a very good name considering that it sounds like the name of a leader and the bikes are arcee sis no elita-1 sis maybe elita-2(but it does sound ugly elita-9 kinda cool) and also has anyone looked at the movie credits to see who made the vocie for the three bikes I figures it should say the charecter and the voice actor for example megan fox..................arcee,chromia,"elita-1 and i forgot who plays optimus voice help

Didn't Elita 1 die a horrible painful death in Reign of Starscream? Anyway, is this is true that's good. I've yet to see any of the bike sister in stores here but I'm definately picking them up when I do.
And why should Hasbro be obliged to respect the events of licensed "third rate" fiction when it comes to naming new toys? I mean, Hasbro maintain that Jazz and Bonecrusher survived the first movie according to the bios of toy redecos.
Plausibly the only real way you could get away with it while addressing the issue at hand is to make Elita 1 a rank (similar to Magnus, or Prime), and have the purple bike promoted to that after the previous one died in RoS#5. On a pracitcal level they'll ignore it.
Grrr, I wanted Moonracer. I liked the idea of Elita-1 being separate from the Arcee sisters. After all, movie lore still puts Elita as the first female, so I'd imagined her as being the trainer/boss of the other "females." Making her subordinate to Arcee stinks.
yeah, but those redecos weren't part of any storyline, they just were repaints to sell more but "elita-1/flareup" is part of the storyline... I still think they would do 4 bikes... one pinkish purple and call her "elita-1" (basically a repaint of another bike" and one bluish purple and call her "flareup" with a new mold... (hey, don't break my imagination, lol)
My reason for not liking the name FlareUp is in my sig. My reason for not liking the name Elita-1 is because her colors dont make sence. Arcee was pink in G1, BM and Animated, so making her redish-pink makes sence. Chromia is blue in G1, so making her blue makes sence. Elita-1 has NEVER been purple in any TF line. And Elita-1 is not the leader, which she WOULD be if she WAS Elita-1. So, between Flareup and Moonracer, I think her name should be Moonracer, seeing as how Purple reminds me of space, were the moon is located. *deepbreath*.... Done with my fan-rage, for now.
