Yesssss! The two LEDs in the back of his head are white, so the yellow and red transparent plastic eyes in the 6 faces can shine through. There's no light bleed either, b/c of the thick and painted plastic.

Hm....interesting concept. It does seem to sacrifice the 'reformated' sculpt though, or the led is placed above it?

 

Of the three different MP Tracks releases made, it still irks me that Takara never bother to produce a toy accurate version like this. That looks great.

It would have been simple to do by just adding a second faceplate. Takara has been adding extra face plates for several figures this one should have been a no brainer.

 

The sculpting is gone and replaced by a green circuit board with leds on it, so ermm... it's more realistic?  

 

In a weird sense it is....I wonder if I can replicate that with home made mats for my SG Optimus....Guess Ill have to open the head to find out.

 

Could always get a shadow fisher mp-10 head to experiment. They're not that pricey, iirc.

 

Yes...Though Id have to paint that black as well and I was considering to play the wait game for a few months, to see if SF decides to release a head/matrix only set. I want me an evil looking matrix.
