Hey all. I'm not liked by most on here, but I thought I'd post this here anyways. I made this 3D Transformer for my Interactive Media lab at the WCSCC. I made it in 3dsMax, and it took me about a month and a half to complete. Realistically only a couple of weeks due to other projects that I was working on at the same time. It's basically supposed to be a 3D version of a Transformers toy. The packaging was a last detail that (aka afterthought) I did for the heck of it. I used the name's Transformo's and Tankor, so that my lab teacher wouldn't think I was using any company's names. It's not entirely my own design. I've based it off of the Titanium Fallen, but I've changed stuff here and there. I was going to do a desert camo, but didn't have time to do so. It wa completed a while ago, but I hadn't found time to get the pictures of it home so I could post it up here. This is my first attempt at making a 3D Transformer, so go easy on me here. Well, thanks for looking. I hope you like it. Bot Mode- Tank Mode- Headbot- Packaged 1- Packaged 2-
Thanks NP. I was hoping that if I left this thread alone for a while, that it might get some more posts, but, some people just won't let go of the past. I personally think I did pretty good for my first attempt at making a 3D Transformer.
I don't have a particular problem with you, man; I just didn't see the thread. For a first attempt at a 3D TF, this is very good. It's very cool to see someone model the toy packaging too; I always like doing that sort of thing myself. One thing I would say, though, is that you might want to consider a wider colour range for him; maybe make the upper legs silver or grey, something to break up the brown tones.
