Thought I'd post some renders of Hardhead that I started way before doing the Constructicons. This was my very very very first attempt at creating a Transformer in 3D.

I did most of the tank mode but never finished it nor did I try to make his robot mode. I'll get back to him someday.

    Enjoy!

Nice modeling on the vehicle model, so far. Just need to add the fine details before heading off to bot mode.

In terms of texturing, turn down the reflection. He's supposed to be a Cybertronian tank and machines of war in general, aren't that reflective. I'm not sure what program you're using, if it's Maya or Max I could tell you where to go to adjust the shader settings, and I'm sure you could find it in Lightwave.

Also, if it's possible, could you render out a wireframe shot? I'd like to see how you're polies are arranged.

    Thanks.

Dude! He just rolled off the assembly line. He hasn't been to war yet so of course he's still shiny! :D  and they could have been that shiny on Cybertron when they were brand new, you don't know, you weren't there 400 million years ago ;)

heh but seriously I know a tank wouldn't be painted like that. At the time I had a car paint material handy so I used it. But until I can make better materials, all my transformers will be this reflective :D

Here's a screenshot from Max 3 of the wireframe. A lot of booleans in there...
