On a USB you create a folder called PS3, inside that folder, you create a new one called SAVEDATA (check the 3D Dot official for confirmation on that) and within there, you put and unzip the file. Then on your PS3, you go to your saved data folder (in the game section), go to your USB and find the file (they have the character icon, so they are easy to spot) press triangle and copy them over.

If you've ever backed up a save file from your PS3, those folder will have been created for you already on your back up memory stcik.

In the game, you go to select a character an on the right there is a box that says Edit Data. You can change your character at any point in the game

    Cheers Prowl :D

Made my own flying bat, the editor was surprisingly fun and not overwhelming to use as I expected. Now how can we share our creations? I'm guessing its just those instructions in some sort of reverse order :D

p.s the game rules, behold my giant sword. just cleared the first temple, the boss reminded me of a certain nokia phone game :)

I just got the game. Making my character now. The descriptions of some of the templates are funny :) .

Couple of ways to share. Submit it to the 3D Dot wall of heroes site (so long as it's not too close to copyright.) Email it to each other, since the files are Zipped and tiny. Or if you have a sharing site, you can have people download it from there, like the Link I posted earlier.

The tool is easier than I thought also. The Holding X down and highlighting multiple blocks helps a lot, especially in conjunction with the MOVE tool because you can shift limbs around for walking animations and stabs, etc etc.

I'm in the 3rd dungeon and loving ever second of it. I want to post some snapshots, but I'll try to do it next week.

Absolute praise for the first person that makes bouncing boobs as your character.

Damn, I didn't know this game was a retail release. Even more so that it's 40 bucks.

I was gonna Super Street Fighter IV but now I dunno if I should go for this instead...

    That's two great games.

All I can say about this one is what I said before: If you love Zelda, this feels so at home. Lacking of course is the Zelda mythology and the charm of Link, but everything else feels like a strange trip to the paste, while still delving in the present. And you can download link, lol, but not Zelda.

The hero that defeated the evil. He looks a lot like link in the opening of the game. Not that dude you control before waking up at the inn. But the hero in the story. Well I've created Wataru. I like it. I'll move on to making his Mashin next. Because beating dungeon as Ryuseimaru would be awesome.

    The dude on the right.

Little bit of trivia. This dude's anime got a Turbo Grafix 16 game made that got released in america as Keith Courage in Alpha Zones with a screwed up storyline :) .

Now Wataru and his trusty Mashin Ryuseimaru are ready to save Dotnia!

    Wataru from the anime.

Dont worry. The sword on his back disappears when you use the sword

Ryuseimaru. Took about an hour or two each to make.

The size and colour restrictions are a bit annoying but I'm assuming thats another homage to the palette/size restrictions back then.

Bought this today and just finished going through the second temple. Having a blast. Never played a Zelda game before so to me it feels like pokemon only it's hack n' slash.

    Really brings you back.

I havent even beaten the first temple. I'm just exploring the country side (and finding either boulders or grappling points that hinders my exploration).

Those flying clouds that shoot lightning down are annoying. Especially when they are the 'crowned' versions.

The thunder clouds are a pain. I'm curious to see if the magic I got from the second temple will work on them.

Spotting loads more references, another couple of Dragon Quest IV ones, lots in the loading screens too.

Spent a lot of time messing around with the Tower Defence minigame, finally got a perfect run :D

Heh, had a feeling it would sound weird.

I meant back to when I first played games like pokemon. Where everything was pixelated and old-school.

Gives you a rush of nostalgia.

Yeah, that one is insane. I've heard people comment on how they feel like they need "Jedi Master reflexes" to pull it off.

Just cleared the third dungeon, the difficulty is certainly starting to pick up a bit. I've also found the use for those small blocks I keep finding, and got myself a couple of new "swords". One of which is a baseball bat. Makes a very satisfying "thwack" when I hit things with it :D
