Much like Bonecrusher, Scavenger suffers from “To-Much-Like-The-Toy” syndrome. But despite that, I feel he didn’t turn out too badly. The legs are basically the same as Bonecrusher (well, more like exactly) but with a colour change and some feet detail. I did have a more realistic setup for the boom arm but simplified it for easier animation. Wasn’t quite sure how to make one object's rotation affect another object's position. That's just something that will have to wait. I have also created a simpler leg with a tread that i can animate should I want to do any scenes of him moving about a construction site. Enjoy! Chris
Here is a .GIF of the animated leg tread if anyone is interested. All the wheels are going around too but you can't really tell since they don't have any texture to them. I hope to work it into an animation somewhere along the line
