The good stuff starts at 26:00.
Too bad I don't understand what they're saying.

Thanks for the link! I wish I knew Chinese, because this is the second video I’ve seen with these guys where they talk a LOT and barely touch or show the figure.

Possibly prototypes were too fragile to experiment with them. According to my investigation ( :D ) 3A TLK Bumblebee would be 22 feet (including doors), if he would be in the Movie!

    Well... Sqweeks arrived.
I spent a good 30 minutes putting it together.
The damaged leg, mirror, tools on his back, helmet, and hands all come disassembled.

My least favorite part is the loose "helmet".
It's kind of floppy and tends to fall off during handling.
The rest of the figure is almost too good. So many detailed/fragile parts!

    Either way, I'm happy.

Haha, he looks cute! And painted like his body is really from rusty metal!

    Yeah, he's great!
There are only 2 things I've noticed that are different from the movie.

The VESPA logo on his chest is gone.
The "WASH ME" writing on the back of his helmet is also missing.

    Otherwise, he's very accurate. :D

You could probably do that yourself using some paint thinner if you’re brave enough to customize such an expensive figure ;)

I'd be too afraid to mess it up.
I'm much more willing to buy one of those 3D pens, trace the Vespa logo, and stick it to Sqweeks' chest.

Had to remove the Vespa logo for licensing reasons. 'Wash Me' was funnily enough not part of any of the concept art and assets we received. Wasn't until we saw the movie in theaters that we saw that detail

Pushed to get it on production version, but alas didn't make it in time

Thank you for that bit of information.
I'm not sure about others, but I really appreciate "inside information" like that.

I think even the "WASH ME" was changed, because the promptional bio had "CLEAN ME" written. :p

    Thanks for your hard work!
I noticed that 3A Sqweeks even has more detail in some parts compared to Prime 1's larger statue and a lot more than the Herocross version. :D

I also noticed, that new 3A figures have aproximately the same level of detalisation as Prime1, although being sufficiently smaller!

    @decemberist
Is there anything new regarding the Release of Optimus Prime?
I have been told at Email, that he will be released in March / April

Other Stores have listed a Release of June.

    So which one is correct?

He's stunning. The execution is incredible and the design is charming.

Unfortunately I lost almost all interest in him when I actually saw him in action in the movie.

Looking at the figure, I can only imagine what he had to go through in order to survive.

Busted, rusted, beaten, and missing a leg.
Then stumbles on an orphan that tries to fix him back up.

I think Sqweeks can have his own "E.T." movie.

I thought he and Izabella would be a touching duet of outcasts supporting each other, knowing the dark and realistic tone of previous Movies:(

That's what the movie trailers led me to believe. Oh well.
I still like the "Original Trillogy" aesthetics of Sqweeks' design.

...much more than Drift, Crosshairs and Hound.

As nice as ThreeA's work is, it still doesn't make Sqweeks appealing to me. One of the absolute worst characters in the Michael Bayverse.

I wouldn't mind ThreeA having a go at Izabella though...:D

So "Q2" can mean anything from tomorrow to end of June, yes? So the June release date that some sites have could be accurate for the release of Optimus :(
