Why, so it can be as completely wrong as the Dropkick and Shatter figures? At this point I wouldn't be surprised if SS Blitzwing is a Jetfire repaint.
Regardless of what you think, some people actually like how SS Dropkick turned out and are awaiting to add Shatter to their Decepticon army.
God damn spectacular! I wish he were a few inches taller so he could size better with the DLX bee (and 1:18/4" figures for that matter) but this looks excellent as it is.
Wow 2019 is really testing my wallet. Loved the movie, and I enjoyed "Blitzwing" while he lasted. If he goes for around $200 USD I'll happily get him, otherwise it's going to be a rough 2019, sorry wallet!
I just got back from watching bumblebee again! Damn this is stunning! 3A are doing wonders. Oh god yes. And all the seeker retools and redecos. Huh? That’d be a big fucking surprise. That’s like wasting all their assets on making a new leader class figure which they’ve only done about four of. That’d be a pretty shocking move.
But heres the thing blitzwing had the same design since the beginning its just it had a name controversy
Technically, the Seeker below is Starscream—similar to Blitzwing, but with a different head and color scheme. That being said, I wonder if 3A will attempt at making him considering it seems like a relatively simple retool.
They did re-tool DOTM Prime for Evasion mode Prime so they might do it in the future. Would be cool to see other cybertron bots and cons get the 3A treatment too.
I own SS Dropkick. He's a fun figure in his own right! But it is factually correct to say that both Dropkick and Shatter (and SS Bumblebee himself to a degree) are wrong. When Hasbro set up the SS line it was on the basis of screen accuracy - and they nailed it to start with. Letting these massively inaccurate toys sit in to the SS line dilutes their own brand statement. Maybe they should have just waited instead of rushing them out, it's not like SS Shatter is coming out at the right time anyway. Here's hoping an SS Blitzwing figure is getting the time it deserves.
Yep I want it bad, and as long as the price is right I will get it. And considering the fair price on the DLX bee it's likely this will also be in my acceptable range.
I've never considered buying a non-transforming figure in my life, but these guys are pumping out some amazing stuff...very badass, very tempting...
Oh sorry, I just couldn’t tell cause you were talking about the short comings of shatter and Dropkick. My apologies.
