Because the movies themselves do a ton of smoke and mirrors to think a giant alien can do that IRL. Toys can't do that unless there was some advanced engineering on the designers part which would be more costly. We're lucky the Siege line can replicate the characters the way they are even if it means cheating a little (a retooled Optimus to fit with Jetfire, Shatter and Dropkick based on their most used alt modes and not all of them, Blitzwing may or may not have been planned to be a triple changer, etc) We don't have to worry about it as much with G1 or Prime as the simple designs lend to less hair-pulling schematics.

Bumblebee is a double edged sword. You got the simple silhouettes hearkening back to the basics of G1, but also lending themselves to modern cgi allowing filmmakers to make some cool but complicated transformations that toys can never replicate even if Hasbro tried. Having both will lead to something being sacrificed which is why for this line they don't have to try as hard; just make well articulated figures that also look great and scale nicely with MP-ish or 3-6in figures.

ThreeA will now include a warranty sheet.
I'd prefer a simple C.O.A., but this is a nice improvement.

Is this for preordering? Looks odd, but if it means ordering from the sight gaurentee safety I can tolerate it.

By a long shot dude, the only good bayformers movie because of it's plot/story is the first one. Travis Knight somehow managed to salvage the shit story from 4 and 5 along with soft rebooting it into something better. Hes a true fan who understands what people want. Unfortunately it's doing poor in the box office.

I dunno its made $365m worldwide as of Jan 13. More than 70% outside the USA.

Its in profit by $100m or so using the rough 'double the production cost ($135m) to determine the marketing costs' rule of thumb.

Bumblebee (2018) - Box Office Mojo

    Looking good. Profit is profit.

I hear that, price isn't so much the issue as scale is, especially considering I'm trying to establish a universal scale amongst all my figures.

    YouTube (Legacy):
The designs are better in Bumblebee because they're colorful and made of larger solid pieces which makes it far more easier to follow in battle. A good portion of the designs in '07 were gray and were confusing to the general audience in regards to who was who. The designs resembling G1 designs was just a bonus. I don't see how designs looking like the source material is a bad thing in the first place. And it's not like they copied G1 one-to-one, they took creative liberty with a lot of designs like the Seeker design and the gas mask face and the way the cockpit splits up in robot mode or Optimus and blue detailing on his arms, etc.
