Transformers DLX Blitzwing
Ordered one, Q3 here I wait.
The main wheels are much larger than the nosewheels. The model has all 4 the same size. And no F-4 wheel has any sort of "collar" mounted at the axle---that's very much how Russian planes do it. (Not to mention the model has 4 identical gear struts, while real F-4 nosewheels are both mounted to a single strut, which is longer and skinnier than the main gear struts)
I also think they're trying to have those white circles above the tires, on the front of the struts, be landing lights. That'd work for a lot of jets, but not a Naval F-4. (And again, there's far to many of them).
All in all, it's like they "stopped caring below the knees, and just started tossing random stuff in down there", which seems odd considering how accurate the rest of it all is.
Right yeah. I just thought that cause slightly more people care about ramjet. Even though thrust and dirge are the best of the coneheads with their comedy duo thing.
Scale is all kinds of off with their bee, but that’s not the point. The point is to have a fully detailed and articulated figure of Blitzwing at an affordable price and this does that EXTREMELY well. He’s gonna look great on my shelf.
Q3 = when? Summer?
Great! Just ordered one. This is the first time I've purchased a non-transforming figure.
Expecting two refund checks in the coming months. Will preorder as soon as one of them arrives
Pre-ordered, alongside 3A's Deluxe Bee. Look forward to receiving them.
Speaking of Bee, that one is cheaper on BBTS at $135. Wonder if there is a real difference between them.
Is the Q3 release date for pre-orders only or is that also mass/retail release? I’m wondering if 3A is doing the same like with BB, releasing a 1st batch for pre-orders and 2nd batch being for mass release of a later date? Can you clarify?
Thanks in advance
Both him and bumblebee look beautiful. I might have to get these. I need something in my collection that celebrates the bumblebee movie, and the MPM bee just doesn\'t cut it for me.
For pre-orders and mass release. We are working to reduce production times, but each project has its own complications. If we can get it out sooner, we will
I hate to bother you but are we looking at about another 3 month wait before the next DLX is revealed?
Well would you look at that, $200 USD as I hoped but no money to pre-order yet LOL. Also Q3? That's when MP-44 is coming out and I have money saved for him too... oh well. No sacrifice no victory.
ThreeA if you're reading this, pretty please consider a Starscream retool sometime
Wha...? 3 month wait? DLX Bee was revealed end of Nov, Blitzwing early Jan, and the next DLX release will be in March if all goes to plan
I have no track of time. Appreciate the answer and will be waiting for big red.
Or little red or little blue.
Now, about that Studio Series figure...?
