New Cyberverse Legion TRU 4-Pack found on eBay

Looks like repaints of previous Legends toys with some new guns thrown in. I saw the BB vs Soundwave with Rodimus set a day or so back but this is a new one on me.

    Marked as a TRU exclusive.

Seller is Australian, I wonder if that's the exclusive mentioned at Australian Toyfair?

I hate Hasbro sometimes...they're gonna make me buy so many Legends Bumblebee to get the ones I want...*sigh*

I could care less about this set, except that it has the WFC paint scheme of the Cybertron Legends Starscream...since it IS cheeper to get this set...*sigh*

Legion is apt considering the shelf warming potential.

So that appears to be: Universe BB in a movie-ish deco, an alt-mode-scanning movie BB, Starscream with a funky deco and... is that the War For Cybertron Legends Starscream on the end?

That pack looks strange even more with it having Cybertron Starscream in there for some reason. Maybe it's story on the back goes something like

"Deep in Space Bumblebee looks for the runaway Starcream who has gone into another universe to recruit an alternate self. As he enters a portal he finds an alternate form of himself! Can the two Bumblebees defeat the two Starcreams?"

    :lol

I'm looking forward to this set. I hope it's not an Australian only exclusive.

Interesting 4-pack. Probably won't get it, but the Universe Bee and Cybertron Starscream repaints look nice. Should be interesting to see what other non-movie Legends repaints we get from these multi-packs.

Yeah, I'm diggin it for the "classics" repaints. I hope they repaint that new starscream mold into thundercracker and skywarp at some point. They did with the last few legends molds for various exclusive sets, so here's to hoping...

    Definitely interesting...

So far I have been more impressed with the Legends/Cyberverse stuff from DOTM than the other figures (Shockwave and Leader Ironhide top the list though). This particular 4 figure set of Legends has me interested mostly due to the completely unexpected use of the Cybertron Starscream mold and the Universe Bumblebee mold, along with the "phased" movie Bumblebee. That's 3 pretty awesome wins in a 4 pack.

It is plainfully obvious that the cybertron and movie starscreams are not the same character, the toys look so different, they should have put in the universe Bumblebee instead of one of the movie ones to mix it up a bit and make WFC Starscream stand out so much.

Darn it Hasbro. I thought I won't be buying any DOTM toys but Hasbro keeps putting Classics molds into the DOTM multi-packs. It was Universe legends Rodimus first and now Bumblebee. I don't mind buying them single-carded but in multi-packs; why?

It's like Sparkcrusher all over again.

I'm there for the Starscreams. I am pleased that at least I'll be buying a multipack for more than one figure. I usually end up getting anywhere from a 2pk to a 5pk for just one Starscream.

Maybe its the realization that movie legends won't sell unless classics legends are packed with them? I would buy this for the Cybertron Starscream and Classics Bumblebee, and either sell or toss the other two in the trash.
