    Those cartoons are still the best nowadays, the cartoons USA does now are not at that level imo.

    Mighty Orbits, Galaxy Rangers, and Pirates of Dark Water were also well animated from my recollection. Or at least the opening sequences were.

    Damn straight! I moved from Japan back the US in 1984 and seeing both the commercials for the toys and the actual show for Transformers, I felt like I was still back there watching the anime that was out at the time. Also, was into G.I. Joe, Robotech (watched this in Japan as Macross) and Voltron. I guess thats why I never got into He Man, Gobots or any of the other "american" shows.

    You have to give me more information than that mate!? I know season 1 till 4, Headmasters (which I like to call season 5) and the other Japanese releases. I collect MPs from the five seasons. I don't recall ever seeing this clip in any of those! :oops:

    I'm ashamed. Rewatched More Than Meets The Eye and indeed, in part 3 this scene occurs. I'm going to stand in the corner now, feeling stupid. :oops:

    It's just weird editing. Optimus commands and the platform fires in the first sequence, and I'm sure what's supposed to be happening is that they simultaneously disarmed each other. But Optimus repeats his command gesture again when his battle platform is exploding, and only then do we see Optimus' shot connect.

    Hopefully this issue of figure king will reveal something new. I'm salivating at the thought. Anything new. Color photos. The secrets of the trailer. Accessories. The transformation sequence that was hinted at shortly after reveal. Maybe even a peek at the matrix. Obviously not all at once. Lol
