So I suppose the next logical step would be to do an ultra Magnus body armor that’s toon accurate. Just sayin’
That backpack is waaaaaay too big.
They can have pose-offs!
Illogical. Ultra Magnus armor on a Prime body isn’t cartoon accurate.
Ok true, but Magnus need an overhaul in order to match this.
Prime's been reading The Hunchback of Notre Dame and is channeling his inner Quasimodo.
Yeah I guess I need to get a stronger rose tinted prescription but it's so glaringly obvious and off putting in that bottom image, of a wonderfully well posed and clearly excellently articulated figure, that he's carrying about twice as much as I'd like on his back. I love most other things about thr figure and do want one but man...that's quite a compromise. Maybe it won't be a jarring in reality, Dinobot turned out alright in that respect. It does appear to be a trend in MP to fold the alt-mode up and have them carry out on thier back. Like you once said it's the Popple effect.
Hi res scans
Loopaza Mega Store
I cleaned the pic a bit.
Welp, that's everything for now, need some sleep.
I cleaned the great work of seth, only the perimeter, the work is all from Seth.
That waist gap exposed hinged on front grille though...
I think the upper body could've seated/flushed properly on the waist to hide that hinge before taking a photo.
I know right?
It's going to be really satisfying doing the whole chest, I think. The windows open and flip around, and when they're closed back in truck mode they sit lower than in bot mode. The motion of the truck top coming up from his back, while the bot top goes down into behind his windows is quite beautiful. The sides of his truck accordion out from inside him, as his whole torso then pushes forward off his pelvis. His legs look like something else.
It's only so visible because the reverse ab crunch is in action. Otherwise it'll be much more hidden, like this:
So it looks like I was wrong that the panels on the backs of his hands imply Sunstreaker articulation, since they remain flush with the rest of the hand even when it's in action
The articulation is definitely there though (is that the silver of a pin beneath his thumb?).
From that closeup could the hand be on a ball and socket?
Oh damn you missed a hand!
Anyone able to do a translation yet?
