It looks like he has a cartoon accurate backpack.
From the front it looks like you can't see the infamous kibble hinge on the back that caused such a stir in the marketing photo.
THE HOUND SHALL BE RELEASED
Glad to see a full color figure, hopefully it will be a short wait until release.
And the kinda triangular indent under his pecs. Looks good. Not a single piece in common with the alt mode though, which some people don't care about, but I find incredibly lame.
Hmmm, not liking the face as much as I thought I would. It looks a little long.
Woot! Prime is not quite meeting my expectations but is still good - want to see more views. Hound is a welcome surprise and looks good as well
Is this for real? Is that a masterpiece hound??????
Wow, his bot mode looks incredibly better from this image. Now I won't regret buying one.
In fairness unlike somebody else <cough> Fanstoys,Takara doesn't mind showing an unflattering view in reveals and photos.
Wow this looks a lot better than the prototype...or at least the photo of it was pretty bad. He doesn't look bloated, you can see the angled chest cuts from the cad drawing, and from what I can see the top and sides don't look to be too much of mess. Alt mode looks great with minimal panel gaps and the back of the cab looks flat! Gotta love that Takara magic.
Didn't even realize that was masterpiece hound at first, I thought it was FT's version then realized there would be no way they would put that in a MP display.
It looks like Prime's Truck doors can open. There appears to be a hinge near the bottom of the door.
Not the coolest most flattering pose, but he looks great! Those butterfly shoulder hinges will look better pushed in
Heh. Look at the cab pics. This is a giant, $300 version of Powermaster Prime from 1988. He just folds inside out.
The first images looked like a simplified prototype compared to this. That's pretty amazing considering that the only differences I saw in the other 2 Prime prototypes and final versions was the color.
Yeah, I'm convinced this Prime was modified from his original form.
This toy looks perfect. I'm not even joking...
