I'm still looking for a MISB MP-04. Never had one, I remember it costing a million dollars (based on what I was making back then, lol) and I had MP-01, so I couldn't justify it.

 

What difference is there between mp01 and mp04 apart from the presence of the trailer?

 

I never had either, but I know the characters on the comlinks were different. Not aware of any others.

 

That's it really (I'm not sure?). It is a gigantic, sexy AF box, and it carries a lot of nostalgia for me, because I was broke when it came out and I wanted it so bad. I settled for a 3P trailer that IMO looked like junk compared to the official.

But there was a 3P trailer back then too, I remember it costing $50 maybe? I'm not sure.

 

Ha! $300 was my guesstimate for how much V3 Prime is gonna cost. I was feeling content to keep MP-10 until I noticed that missing finger.

I did find a very close match paint wise for Takara mp10 but depends which version you have. Dye I've no idea lol

I have both and they are pretty much identical except for the com link pictures and the added trailer. I don't have my trailer on display as I felt it doesn't look right in the spot its in now. I will have V3 OP with the trailer in alt mode and the other in bot mode.

 

I don't know how Shapeways' plastic reacts, but the dye method that used to be used on regular toys for customs has largely gone out of vogue because the RIT Dye used was reformulated a while back and no longer takes to plastic.

Got my check this week and already I immediately took out $300 ( just to be on the safe side ) , for MP V3 Prime and took another $150 out for a potentially expensive BW MP Megatron. Granted I’m sure he’ll cost more . I have a feeling he’ll be another $250 ( seeing how much Dinobot goes for ). Man ...Glad these guys are coming in the distant future .

 

Some MP1 and MP4 love. Also, posed next to Gabriel (he's a beast and gorgeous). V3 has some big shoes to fill and by the looks of it he will do just that. But let's not forget how great the MP that started all of this still is.
