    You have $355.

You can get one of two toys:

    1. G1 Complete Predaking, Loose.

    OR

    Make Toys Green Giant. MISB.

Which do YOU pick: And why???

GIANT! He's all win and he won't be around forever. Besides, a 3rd party Predaking is being made by MMC. Just be patient. Stick with Dev, he came 1st in the series anyway :)

Meh to Giant. Go big or go home. In other words get TFC Hercules instead.

Owning both, I'd pick Giant. Predaking is great, but there's not much you can do with him. he's bricks that turn into a larger brick. Giant is a modern version of Devastator with realistic alt modes, very detailed and posable individual robot modes, and their combined mode has great stability and posability. Aside from the ball jointed ankles and head, every single joint in Giant's combined mode is an actual ratchet joint, which means the joints hold their positions really well, and won't wear out easily. The locking mechanisms that connect each member are fantastic as well. I've had my yellow Giant complete since May and I'm still messing with him constantly. He's a ton of fun, and one of my favorite features is how you can connect the screwdriver bit-things that come with Long Haul and connect them to the forearm pieces, making big jackhammers that either Giant or the individual bots can use. You can also flip out the hands and connect the big forearms to Scavenger and Bonecrusher to use as ******edly huge and awesome arms.

Also, if you want a Predaking, I'd suggest considering the 2010 reissue: http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/product.aspx?product=TAK11131&mode=retail (it's cheaper on ebay, though)

It's done up in metallic colors, and all the members are the diecast versions. Being able to get a brand new set for around 200 is pretty nice.

Either way it's a win-win,because they are both awesome, but being the G1 lover that I am my first choice would be Predaking.

Herc is not a choice here, thanks.

Predaking for $325 as shown, or Giant for $355 new.

    And please explain why. Thanks!!

I hear Green Giant is going to be KO'd soon (for 140 bucks I think), so I'd probably go with G1 Predaking.

You can get a 2010 MISB Predaking for about 200 on eBay. Love that version. Just saying. I still recommend GIANT 100% though. Get what you want most.

But reissue Predaking is not a real, 80's G1 predaking. I guess what I mean is, if you are collecting G1 figures, re-issues are not the real thing. Kind of like buying Mr Pibb instead of Dr Pepper. At least to me...

Meaning knocked off by another company. Not much details are known yet but it is coming at about that 140 pricetag. Id rather support Maketoys myself. Not a QC gamble I wanna take.

I completely understand the G1 thing. I really prefer the original G1's deco.

Giant is going to be KO'ed, but we don't really know when, or if it'll be any good. You can only expect so much from a KO of something with so many intricate pieces.

Isn't Make Toys themselves "KO'ing" Hasbro/Takara by making a likeness of a licensed character of theirs?
