The trailer for 300 reminds me of the AWESOME PS2 game God of War. Count me in for the movie!

God of War 2 really reminds me of God of War. Can't wait for that too!

I can't stand these 'swords & sandals' movies, but after seeing the 300 trailer, this movie will rock. I haven't read the graphic novel by Frank Miller, but the design work and details on this one is just pure sweetness. Can't wait.

UGHH! The original God of War, in my opinion, easily fits into the top 20 games of ALL TIME. I loved how the game pulled in Roman (and some Greek) Mythology together in an original tale. The 300 seems to do the same thing and pulls in some historical elements as well. I, as well, fell in love with the trailer and the overall look of the movie.

I'm playing some God Of War right now. I guess this movie got me into a mythology/epic "sword and sandal" mood.

Ironically enough, God Of War 2 comes out in March as well. And even more ironic, my birthday's in March.

There was a thread about this when the trailer first appeared. But I'm too lazy to find it.

I can't tell if the movie will either be really good, or suck really bad. The trailer I saw seemed a bit homoerotic. Which would make it unintentionally funny.

Well it is about ancient Greece. I read the hardback grafic novel and it was awesome. They really did a good job mimicking the scenes from the book.

The book however has many johnsons flapping around so the movie is actually more toned down.

The sequel of which is conveniently being released right around the same time.

This movie looks like possibly the best movie coming out anytime soon. My brother put me onto this since he was so excited by it. I think I have seen the trailers 10x and I really cannot wait to see this in the theater.

I was contemplating buying the $40 re-issue of the Graphic Novel that this movie came from. It looks really great. If Frank Miller is over seeing its production like he did with Sin City, we should be fine.

Way off in historical data, but it looks like a great flick.

Except that the movie isn't based on the actual historical event.

The movie is based on a graphic novel. ;)
