While we only really know about 35-40 of the supposed 60 bots, I think it is safe to say we know all of the major characters in the film or at least the well-known ones (with the exception of Springer, who is unconfirmed but has a chance of appearing). Assuming this is true, what are three of each faction you really, really, want to be in TF3 that didn't make it to ROTF?

Sorry if this has been made already, but it has not recently, so I'm bringing it bck up for discussion.

Bots:
1) Prowl. Jazz is gone, but Prowl is still alive to serve as one of Optimus' commanders. He has made cameos in the comics, and is probably the single most well known G1 Bot not in the film series thus far. An obvious choice, especially if Barricade is killed or doesn't show in ROTF. Then again, a showdown between the two would be cool.

2) Ultra Magnus. Jetfire seems to be the really 'big' Autobot in ROTF, but I'm not sure if he'll make it out alive. Magnus deserves some time in the spotlight, and he'd be pretty big as well.

3) Wheeljack. I like Wheeljack, and I think he should make it into TF3. Nuff said.

Cons:
1) Shockwave. A major Decepticon who hasn't shown up at all, except in the video games. Pretty obvious, just not sure what his alt mode could be.

2) Thundercracker. IF Starscream survives, he could use a friend. Was well developed in RoS, so I think he should take a step further.

3) Blitzwing. A triple changer would be cool, as the writers have noted. Who better than Blitz?

 

Grimlock, Kup, Ultra Magnus.

Lockdown (yes, TFA Lockdown movie-fied), Lugnut (same deal), Predaking (made up of "animal" bots the same way that movie Ravage is an "animal" bot).

 

Bots: Ultra Magnus, Grimlock, and Wheeljack or Rodimus.
Cons: Swindle, Shockwave, and Lugnut.

 

Bots: Grimlock, Wheeljack, and Warpath.
Cons: Onslaught, Astrotrain, and Blitzwing.

 

Bots:

Wolfang
Inferno

Cons:
Obsidian
Cannonball
Bugly

 

Bots: Prowl,Sunny,and Blurr!!! 
Cons:Shockwave,Skywarp,and Kickback!!!! 

 

If nothing else, you guys are just reminding me that we've got tons of potential left for future films.

Cons: Blitzwing, Astrotrain, Nemesis Prime...

 

Here's who I'd like to see:

Autobots-
-Grimlock- doesn't have to turn into a dinosaur, just needs to be big, angry, short tempered, and with a limited vocabulary.
-Wheeljack- we need our old, wise, mad scientist in one of these movies.
-Prowl- though make him a cross between his G1 form and his Animated form. Give him the colors, personality, function, and weapons of his Animated counterpart, and an alt-mode similar to that of his G1 counterpart. Basically making him a Movie take on Animated Prowl, but with a larger alt-mode.

Decepticons-
-Shockwave- Megs needs his big, purple, one-handed, overly-loyal bot. He helps balance out Starscream's character, imo.
-Lockdown- the Decepticons need another car-bot, and Lockdown would be the perfect choice. He'd bring in a different evil-car-bot design (Barricade and Sideways are too similar, imo). He'd also be epically awesome on-screen, imo.
-Spittor- give him an alt-mode similar to that of his Pre-Beast form (the one by Don of course) and his Animated counterpart's (which was inspired by Don's artwork). This way, if we don't get an Animated toy of him, we would then get a Movie toy of him. Definitely not the same thing, nor anywhere near it, but it'd be better than nothing.

 

3 autobots is prowl, wheeljack, hotrod
3 decepitcons is thundercraker, starscream, soundwave

 

Bots: Rodimus, Animated Bulkhead, and Warpath (G1)
Cons: Bruticus (Stunticons), Motormaster, Lugnut

Like Shadow said, Blitzwing would be really cool to see in Transformers 3; he could be just like Animated Blitzwing and have the three faces. Only this time, Arnold Schwarzenegger could voice all three of them. That would be epic!

Anyway, Blitzwing is one of the three 'cons I would love to see. The other two would have to be Thundercracker and Ramjet.

As for Autobots, I would like to see: Blurr, Wheeljack, and Prowl.

FYI guys, even though this can probably be ignored by the filmmakers, Ramjet was decapitated in the Reign of Starscream comics and Warpath was sacrificed by Starscream.

Blurr seems like a cool choice too.

I think its safe to rename this thread "Blitzwing and Wheeljack rock the kazbah... and rule the stars and skies and the hearts of tfw2005 members". Coz they do. kinda.
