grimmlock, awesome Onslaught. To me personally I like it the way his visor looks, but thats your call.
Onslaught would look fantastic with a hot pink visor.... Maybe just leave it with the orange one you already got.
i know its been a while since i last updated but i kind of switched gears for a bit. until my next characters is done, here's a little something i put together. enjoy!
i've been wanting to do these guys for some time now and i finally got around to do them. the decepticon seekers in all there glory. hope you guys like
Looks great. The glow for the eyes in some of the renders could use tweaking. I usually do my eye glows in photoshop, as XSI is really weird when it comes to the glow's look in render preview and the final render. Another little nitpick is the decepticon symbols on the wings. It looks like an actual object? I think for the seeker wings, that is the one of the places where its better to texture it on, so to give it a better look. Over all a great job.
venksta the symbols are objects and it makes sense to texture it on. don't know why i didn't think of doing that. thanks for the feedback. will fix that next time tese guys are in a scene. thanks buddy.
yes i do plan on doing the coneheads. perhaps i'll start ramjet this week though i'm not 100% sure. Redline, have you been able to do any wallpapers using any of the characters i've done?
not yet, but that's my problem, not anything on your end. I do figure to get to start working on those soon, though, finally.
Awesome pics! Jetfire is my favorite of these and nice touch with the hulk tank mode for Grimlock. I like how Onslaught's leg doesn't close all the way , just like the toy. lol These are all so cool.
thanks for the great comments. so far i have taken a break for modeling for the holidays and currently airbrushing some sweaters for a friend of mine. as soon as thats done will get back to work on the classic characters. keep checking the thread for updates
to be honest, i'm going to do blades instead. however, i am going to do springer but i'll be using the energon bulkhead figure instead. i'm not a fan of repaints, especially in the same toy line, unless it makes sense like the seekers and or sideswipe and sunstreaker.
