Having to get up close and personal is what Buzzsaw prefers. No advantage is gained by Ramhorn in Buzzsaw coming down. In fact being the surgeon that Buzzsaw is he could probably swoop in at high speed and take out Ramhorn's optics and then dismantle him at his leisure with his beak.
Anyone in the mood for Rhino?

Exactly... the wording of Buzzsaw's Tech Specs make it very clear just how deadly and focused Buzzsaw would be in this type of situation. Ramhorn is toast.

Exactly, this is what buzzsaw does. The only reason he would use his mortars would be to force Ramhorn into a state of blind rage (hence the cool tactical thinking). Then he would chow down with his beak.
I like my rhino rare there omegagoalie.

I voted for Ramhorn. I can see a lot of logic in Zmogs argument, but I think Buzz Saw's weapond would do little damage to Ramhorn. Therefore Buzz Saw would need to get close to use his Beak.

My Scenario would be Buzz Saw has go bite into Ramhorn, and Ramhorn rolls on top of him crushing him. There is a fair size difference between a Rhino and a Condor.

    HUFFER

    ALLEGIANCE: AUTOBOT
    FUNCTION: CONSTRUCTION ENGINEER

"Molecular structure is the key to success."

Profile: Bumblebee says Huffer looks at the world "through sludge-colored windshields." Huffer is dour. He says very little and when he does speak, it's usually to grumble. Huffer's pessimism extends even to his job specialty. He'll grumble that it can't be done and then build the most complex mechanized fortress imaginable. Sometimes it seems he can whip up a suspension bridge out of bobby pins and glue. Huffer isn't too sociable, but in any sort of difficulty he is absolutely reliable. Optimus Prime knows that Huffer secretly misses Cybertron and longs to return there.

Abilities: A complex system of sensors in his arms allows Huffer to test various materials, some of which he uses in construction, for various properties such as tensile strength, heat resistance, elasticity, etc. Although lacking weapons, he is extremely strong and can lift 40,000 pounds. His mathematical and geometrical abilities exceed those of all the other Autobots and help him in his construction designs.

Weaknesses: Huffer is prone to severe bouts of depression as a result of his homesickness. At these times he is often inconsolable and of little value to the other Autobots.

    SWERVE

    ALLEGIANCE: AUTOBOT
    FUNCTION: WARRIOR

"Flee before me or else you'll fall before me."

Profile: is a menace to anyone driving nearby. He's easily distracted by just about anything that catches his attention. Despite this, he's quite intelligent and skilled as a metallurgist, analyzing the properties of a material with unique sensors in his hands. When he gets caught up in a scientific problem, he becomes almost laser-like in focus and intensity. Unfortunately, this generally leaves him just as distracted from any other tasks at hand and just as accident-prone a driver as ever. Swerve and "traffic accident" just go hand in hand. He's almost always in need of some repairs, major or minor, because of it.

Huffer, even though I'm not gonna elaborate why. Since SMOG or Omega Goalie if they agree with me will do a better job of it.

    Huffer wins!

Huffer beats Swerve's ass while he's distracted.

Huffer wins from the tech specs alone. Going past that, Swerve is pretty much useless compared to Huffer in combat.

This is like putting a couch potato and a fat clown on a couch...then dropping a dish of chips between them....

    I would vote swerve though...

Even considering that some people vote compulsively for the biggest or strongest contender, regardless of what advantages the other fighter has, I'm still surprised that Ramhorn got more than a quarter of the vote this time.

After reading both Tech Specs, the fight practically writes itself.

Wow... this is an funny match-up, mostly because these guys are almost identical. Neither one really seems to have a decisive combat advantage over the other for any particular reason. It mostly boils down to one guy is depressed, the other guy is careless. :)

But that said... I have to go with Huffer. It's a close fight, but Huffer is just slightly better than Swerve in several categories. I wish I had a more exciting scenario on this fight...

Swerve drives forward to attack Huffer, but loses control and crashes into a building. His rugged Endurance prevents him from taking too much damage, but Huffer has already calculated the exact stress point and angle to allow him to punch out a critical support and send another building crashing down on top of Swerve.

Swerve eventually pulls himself out of the wreckage, and Huffer walks up and calmly plants a fist squarely in his interface, laying him out.

Huffer looks around at the damage caused by the brief skirmish, and sets about reconstructing the building that was knocked over, grumbling to himself about how much his life sucks.

    How's that? :)

That about sums it up Smog - I just really cant come up with a scenario in which Swerve wins, even though I like him more than I like Huffer...
