Sounds cool and all but EA has the exclusive rights to the NFL teams, logos, stadiums, players.....everything.

Its going to be hard to go up against EA without real teams and players.

2K Sports football = sold! I refuse to buy Madden, so this will be an excellent alternative.

I agree with Joe here. This is going to be awesome. The NFL can bite me. This will be an awesome game.

I still play the last 2K football game. I'm in like my 7th season of my franchise. I'll look forward to this.

I just want a good baseball game damnit. Football games rule, but baseball ones always have something that bugs you.

I never understood why the company behind 2K sports lobbied the NFL to sell the exclusive game rights only to let EA outbid them. They would have known EA would throw the bank at it, they should've been prepared to do the same.

It was a five year deal that was signed in 2004.

But the NFL will just rebid for the rights after that, if they don't extend it.

The NFL wants EA just as much as EA wants them. They wanted the publicity, marketing ability, etc. which was a big reason (aside from money) that they went with EA's bid.
