I JUST sent in for my Recon Ravage yesterday, too. That silver sure looks nice on Ravage, and I really like that mold for some reason. I'll definitely be grabbing this when it hits stores.

    What is that?
The 50th repaint of that Voyager Optimus?

Just kill that mold already, Hasbro.

Liking that Ravage better than Voltron Ravage. My purchase of the NEST 2-pack just became less likely.

I think you have to blame Takara for keeping this mould alive on this one. I would bet that this isnt coming over here.

I dont know if there's enough different about this Ravage than the first release to make me want this. I think the light in the pics isnt doing the figure any justice...and providing this it's coming over to the states.

Well that Ravage repaint is sure weird. They seem to be going for movie accuracy, but why not make him all silver then?

Accusing Takara of being lazy? You'll never be allowed into the True Fan ranks that way.

i know this ravage doesn't change my mind. i'm getting that ravage to support future mail-away transformers (and it looks amazing). glad this is coming out so i can keep mail-away ravage sealed, get this to open (and it is different than my little brother's ravage)

I think i'm starting to understand the frustrations of Star Wars Collectors now.

How many times have they remade this darn Voyager Optimus with slight changes... yet not even made any attempt at a truely different version like Ultra Magnus, Nemesis Prime or Night Watch Optimus Prime.

    I actually prefer bloody-chrome Ravage.

Why don't they just make the whole damn thing silver already?!!?! (with maybe some black fading here and there like the head of this one)

Nevermind that, why haven't they made a new Voyager sized RotF version of Prime, they made one for Megatron. I'm sick of repaintitis on Movie 1 molds in the RotF line. I would like to see what the engineers can cook up for something brand new, oh sure so maybe Voyager Optimus from Movie 1 is a Perfect figure, I don't know I don't own the mold yet, though I have plans to pick up at least two from the first movie line and one from RotF, but still I would like to see a different take on a Voyager scaled Movie Prime.

Maybe something in the vein of a slightly smaller figure with a weapons array that transforms into a mini-trailer? Or in other words, a Deluxe scaled version with a trailer that transforms into armor and can reconfigure into a weapons platform. Hey, so what if Movie Prime doesn't have a trailer, a figure like that would mean play value/gimmicks for the kids and something different to go on collectors shelves.

I wish the NEST exclusive Ravage looked half as normal as that one.

Yeah. I'm probably going to end up getting it for that reason, if nothing else. I just wish I didn't have to buy the BB/Soundwave 2-pack to get it. Hasbro's Star Wars and Indiana Jones mailaways have never required purchase of one specific product -- just a certain number from given assortments.

More befitting of ROTF Prime would be "Give me your face, dawg!" in Japanese

Was thinking of the same thing. Looks pretty nice, tho'. Still, at the price that thing will probably go for I'll just stick with the regular version. :)

I think regular Ravage and Recon Ravage will be enough Ravages for me; I'm not a big enough fan of the toy to own all three versions.
As for Optimus: what's the point? I think the movie Voyager Optimus toy is officially the most overused mold of all time. Of ALL TIME. Not to mention that all the decos look pretty much the same for all nine versions of this toy. Soon to be ten, with the Unite for the Universe one.
