    The third party company that did the fold-away heads made those for the redecoes too, which mitigate the mold somewhat.

    Who's Screech then? Besides this new exclusive character. I think it's quite obvious that these are supposed to be movie homages or else why would Skids not be blue? Maybe Mudflap doesn't translate to Japanese well

    You will have to ask Mr. Simon Furman for he is the one who include this new character "Screech" to the Quantum Operative thing.
    For how Skids gets the new color read HERE
    Screech sticks with its own color.
    I will say Quantum Operative might have something to do with the Alternity storyline.

    Mudflap does translate well in Japan. They also call those things as Mudguard.
