The sequel to 28 Days later. Looks pretty awesome.

Here's a link to the trailer...

Needless to say... I can't wait.

There was a rumor circulating the net around the time 28 Days later got released on DVD: there would be sequels titled "28 Weeks Later," "28 Months Later," and "28 Years Later."

I loved the first one. It's just sheer madness. The epic "emptiness" of England blows you away. It's like the apocalypse, but the dead survive to infect the others.

I'm eagerly awaiting the sequel. Kind of like a british version of Night of the Living Dead if you will although both are quite diffrent.

Fast zombies FTW. Slow zombies just give people a sense of false confidence that they'll survive the end times.

EDIT: The black soldier, Stone, was excellent in The Wire. I'm looking forward to him getting some major screen time.

This is one of those sequels that you think, "did it have to be made?" I mean really, the first movie was pretty solid as a stand-alone.

Its got a kid as the main character, that alone has already put me off this movie.

    SWEET!!

I cant wait to see this one....the first one was awesome...

I do hope the three main characters from the first film at least have an appearance in it or something...because, in sequels, I do hate when they do not at least "tell" or "show" what happened to the original survivors (actor/actress) of the previous film(s).

I liked the first one until they got to the miliary compound and it turned into a Lord of the Flies type study of the way people treat each other.

And, I never really considered them zombies.
I thought they were infected with the "hate spores" from the spaceship that brought back Optimus Prime's body.

Yeah, I'm not a fan of that either. I'm just hoping the scenes with the soldiers take precedence. And if the kids die, well, that'd just be awesome.

One of my favorite memories of '28 Days Later' was the horrified look on certain people's faces when, 10 minutes into it, they realized it wasn't a sequel to the Sandra Bullock romantic comedy '28 Days.' Plus, it was such a good flick. Between this and "Hot Fuzz," Brits are representin' at the multiplex this spring.

I'm definitely looking forward to it. I rather enjoyed the first one. More and more I'm realizing how many movies are coming out this year that I really want to see.
