If you plan on buying the whole series you might as well buy the Matrix edition which is coming out end of July, I believe.

I'm buying the idividual sets because I want slim packs. It's kind of a bitch that I will miss out on the extra disc... but I'm not even sure it's with the extra cost of the Matrix set. The box it's self to me is more a detractor than incentive. While neat conceptualy, seems to take up to much space, it's a hassle to open, and you have to dig through a stack of cases to get to the other discs.

Having said all that though.... I bet I'll buy it when it hits retail... if only because I'm a nut bag collector.

It seems as if buying the individual sets could be substantially cheaper.

I'm sorry but buying the individual sets is better, more cost effective, and will take up much less space on your self. the box is only worth it to those who feel they most own every stinkin thing TF related no matter the cost.

I picked up my 25th anniversary Season One set yesterday at Wal-Mart. Then came home and watched all the episodes back to back. Now I have to watch the bonus disc.
