Today marks the day! 25 years of Transformers, and still going! What was everyone's first Transformer, and who is your favorite character?

My First one was Gears, and I remember my first "big one" was Trailbreaker. Years later, Trailbreaker is in the trash in Maine somewhere, thanks to my younger brothers. Gears is still here with me.

My favorites were always Prowl and Prime. My collections is missing very few of the different molds they have had from over the years.

 

My first one was Megatron. My Mom didn't like him because he's a gun.

my first was Bumblebee my first big one was Inferno , don't have either any more as my mom threw away my collection on me while i was away at college XD
My favorite character has always been Wheeljack the resident mad scientist of the Autobots im 36 so i have been here for all 25 glorious years

 

My first was Optimus Prime, I got him on my 4th B-day back in 84.

My favorite is Optimus Prime.

As you can see I'm a reeeeaaaallllyyyy big Optimus fan!

 

First TF was either Prowl or Bumblebee. I'm honestly not sure anymore. Favorite character is Marvel Comics Ratchet.

I turn 35 on August 8th (Anniversary of the original Transformers movie).

And, since it's relevant to the Anniversary, I'll remind folks of the blog-event I've been talking about over here.

 

Megatron was my first TF.

Got him at TRU in April of 1984 for $19.99.

 

I am 20 years old and have always had Transformers. My mother likes to tell a story about sitting me down in the care of Mark (who is her first husband's son by his second wife and not my brother; we lived with them for a time before Mum got her own house) and was able to do all of the housework that needed doing as we were both mesmerised by the 1986 movie. Eventually, I had my own VHS tape of it and it wore out through repeated playing -- thank God for the advent of DVD! I think my first toy was Starscream. Most of my older ones were picked up by Mum and my grandparents at car boot sales in varying degrees of completeness, but I have many times many and love them all. In the past few years I've started buying them again (the DVDs of G1 and the movie are probably to blame) and I plan to keep on buying! So, happy twenty-fifth, Transformers! Here's to the next quarter-century!

I'm 20, my first transformer was G2 Sizzle (I think) and my favourite character is Galvatron.

 

Ratchet was my first. I think the folks begrudgingly approved of the ambulance.

My first was Sludge (my favorite Christmas was when I got Scorponok and Trypticon from opposite grandparents!)

The first TF I remember having was G1 (red variation) Bumblebee. I still have him, and he's in great shape.

My favorite character is G1 Galvatron.

I'm 33, grew up with TFs and been a fan since 1984.

 

My first Transformer was one of those Diaclone (?) watches. My first "As-Such" Transformer was Bumblebee. Shortly thereafter came Warpath.
