    Ebay:
Years ago I use to sell a custom Ultra Magnus trailers on ebay.
I had made about 9 total Ultra Magnus trailers and kept one for my own collection.

They were made from the Revell 1/25 Car Transporter model kit
and the kit was some what expensive and hard to come by.

I had begun to clean out my closet and came across the trailer in the back. Needless to say it brought a smile to my face.

This trailer is a massive piece. It is 25 inches long and about 5 inches high.
It is able to hold the 1/24 Alternators and I have had Binaltech cars set on the
top slats without damaging or collapsing it.

The back top slates fold down when you remove the side pins from the main
bars and the set comes with 2 long narrow slates to load cars into the lower
or top portion of the trailer.

Making this kinds of trailers was a project but when you are done it really gives you a scene of accomplishment.

I hope you all enjoy the pictures:)

Very nice job! I love those trailers, lots of detail and hard to work with. I should know I have one of my own.

    Yours look great man:)
The kit is a pain in the butt to work on but when it is all done it's a real work of art.
I like what you have done with the rocket launchers on the sides.
I was thing about using the rocket launchers from RID Prowl to give
the trailer more bang for the buck.
How did you get you rocket launchers to stay on?

Well first I glued the rockets in place since I uselly don't fire them anyway. Then I drilled a small hole small enough to fit the launching lever into, then I just pushed it into place. It fits rather tight if make the hole small.

    Thanks man.

It is a pain to put together and it has so many parts to assemble.
I think most people look at it and think "Oh that looks easy to put together"
but the reality of this kit is that you need to build each section piece by piece.

I'm glad that you and Auceps Prime have both assembled your trailers.
I'm looking forward to seeing your soon.

yeah. it was a challenge, but so worth it when built. I used zap-a-gap (super glue) to put it together...and the model was very rare and expensive (I eventually found one on ebay in the UK - with shipping it cost me $105.00 USD) Somehow, I gotta figure out how to "break" it all apart so it can form the armor for ROTF UM.

    Oh crap!
    That is expensive.
Now when you say break the trailer apart and make it in to the armor for ROTF Magnus
will the armor still be able to be reassembled in to the trailer?

yeah, that's the tricky part. I'll need to add some hinges and stuff. I imagine the flat plates which hold the cars would form a wing type design on his back and the rods/bars would wrap around the legs and arms. It will most likely come apart into about 10-20 pieces, and reassemble using clips and magnets.

    Good luck man.
That is going to be one hell of a project.

Do you only have the one trailer to work off of?

I think I may have another kit in my closet at home.
I'll need to look for it.

It always helps to have a back up kit or figure.
