Well I voted for Megatron_91's and LegoTFGuy's crossover, and I really meant to post why earlier.

While the Polenicus/Chaos Incarnate crossover is pretty awesome, they won last year. And I mean no ill will by mentioning this, but Chaos Incarnate only updated once in 2011. I'd like to see a crossover that started and ended within the 2011 year win this one. And again, I mean no offense to either Polenicus or Chaos Incarnate in what I'm saying.

With the convention.........I dunno, in my mind it was kind of ignored and forgotten. The thread itself has only 10 pages, and most of the posts seem to be the panel updates themselves. There was a lot of late stuff and organization sort of didn't go so well. I dunno, on my end I just remember trying to get the time to do all the panels I was silly enough to sign up to do. >_<

 

I had to vote for Warring at Play over the Convention for better planning, coordination & execution. After the Awards are done (or fizzle out like last year's did), we probably need to start talking about TFWC-Con2 to fix that this time.

 

Considering Lego and I manged to come up with, put together, and execute our crossover in only a week I'll be absolutely ecstatic of we just take third.

 

I hear ya there, buddy.   Last minute planning FTW!  

Still, it didn't seem right to vote for myself, so I voted for Sharkticomics. (Though I find it interesting that he technically did a crossover with himself  )

Btw, exactly who would have gotten the award had the Convention won out?

Yeah! Third place out of nine entries! Not bad, if I do say so myself.

Congratulations and a gold statue each to Polenicus and Chaos Incarnate! The public now demands an acceptance speech from the both of you! And Chaos, our hands are getting really tired, hanging on that cliff!

Nobody needs to feel disappointed about the contest; it's tough to coordinate a big thing like that, and the fact that it happened at all is well worth a spot in the poll. The voters clearly agreed!

 

How come I was never told of this?! Oh well. Congrats on the winners.
