2011 TFW Funnies Awards - The REAL Best Crossover voting thread!

Okay, let's see if I can do this right, this time!

There are a few variations on the crossover theme here - some are reader inserts, some are
crossovers with another comic. Fourth wall vs. comicverse crossing, I suppose. The lines are
blurry enough and the nominations few enough that I just put 'em all in. Now it's time to vote!

    1. Spoiler's Toys - Grimlock 13's Attempt at Funnies

Sideswipe, I swear, ya need to put a leash on that kid...

    2. AndreaPrime101 -The Rather Small Comics- Guest Starring reader ultramagnus84

This is where UM84 goes when not RP'ing in Transformers Nexus. Or so they say.

It contains the following string: /_R6u_KC4osbY/

DOOMPRIME's House of Insanity vs. Findie Country

It wasn't going well for Fez that day, and it really went down the tubes shortly thereafter...

    6.

guard convoy's Adventures of Big Daddy with guest stars Justice Prime, Incomplete Skywarp, and Megabolt

The Big Daddy knows you want him to win.

I would like to point out that the Convention is where Arcee and Dealer finally did it (on top of weeklyhero's car, no less), to produce baby Clouder...the only robot to take down Ratchet.

That alone makes it a moment in history.

    wh:

    The short answer is incompetence.

The long answer is, I was intertubing from my anciente Windoze boxe, which I dual-booted with Linux Mint a week or so ago, and it's a little bit crashy when I'm running Linux; not sure yet whether it's hardware or software (hardware is suspected due to semi-classic nature of system and intermittent POST error codes). Combine that with the late hour, and chaos reigns.

The midrange answer is multiple levels of incompetence. :D

I fixed it. The post, not the incompetence, that's just broken. :hookday

    Ladies and gentlemechs:

Per the discussion in the Panel poll, I've decided to provisionally keep allowing 'campaigning' comics in this thread. Whether it's allowed in any other poll thread will depend on the coordinator for that particular poll. While there is some risk in this, the campaigning keeps the poll thread lively, and that's good for this contest. However, please keep the following things in mind:

-Keep it friendly. This is very important; even little fun contests like this can be stressful for people.

-Remember that a campaign comic placed in this thread will quickly disappear into the land of forgotten threads when the contest ends. This itself is a good reason to use your own thread, instead. In fact, one of guard convoy's campaign ads, last year, posted in his thread, was nominated for Funniest Moment this year!

Have fun, and no fighting! :hookday

I have a funny feeling that we'll be having a tie between Pol/CI's crossover and the TFW Funnies Convention crossover...

I would also like to make a suggestion, when it comes to campaign comics within the poll itself: Make it small and if you are bribing, make it a humorous bribe (such as my bribe of not brutally killing ponies) not a serious bribe (IE, if you vote for my comic, I will do this and this or if you don't vote for me, I won't do this storyline).

Just a suggestion to keep it fun and light.

Of course, if you don't vote for anything that involving me personally, I will have Ratchet knock up your mom and become your new step-daddy.

I'm torn between my fav. comic, Warring at Play, & my suggestion of including the Crossover Convention Panels (I was specifically suggesting individual panel crossovers be nominated, like what me & Ectoneon did, not the WHOLE SLAGGIN' CONVENTION).

& w/ it so close, my vote may actually make another difference...  What to do, what to do...

At least I have another full day to decide...
