That's not what it means at all. This figure is exclusive to the regular event known as Wonder Festival, or Wonderfest. It takes place at least two times a year, and Tomy is offering this during the winter version. It has nothing to do with the figure looking seasonal.

The Fallen was a dull figure, IMO. Not excited at all.

I'd like to see a clearer picture -- and the effect of the transparent parts -- before I decide on this. Granted, I was hoping for a more movie-accurate repaint.

a bit off topic but that right there shows how long its been since ive been on Seibs... imo its gone even more downhill

but that figures scheme is ugly no matter how you see it

I'm not a fan of the Target redeco, but honestly I'm interested in a clear orange plastic version. But not for the price tag a Wonderfest toy will most likely carry with it.

For a moment there, when I first saw the title picture, I thought that the in-box photo was really a transformed race car, and started to get excited that maybe we'd have a Fallen that looks a lot more like Cybertron Megatron. Then I realized it was an in-box and got disappointed again.

The headshot at the top of the page is the current Target Fallen.

Actually look closer at the magazine scan, and compare the torso area seen in that headshot to the figure there. It's clear plastic, and it's not as if Takara Tomy hasn't done that before. The exclusive TFTM Protoform Prime and Starscream, for example.

Well, I'm a movie-line completist, so I'll be getting this, sadly.

I don't mind the more expensive exclusive figures when they're done well, such as the Fusion Cluster Protoforms, Black Soundwave or White Arcee... but when you're paying premium prices for a toy that's not brilliant - well it takes the fun out of it, somewhat.

Saying that, however, I've not had any problems getting these convention exclusives before - White Arcee was a cinch to find soon after the event, as were all the others.

In fact, the ones I've found the hardest to get have been the Tsutaya legends (EZ) figures, the gold 77 Camaro Bumblebee and last month's clear concept Bumblebee.

Target Fallen - Opaque (albeit very slightly translucent) orange plastic, plus coloured transparent fins on the arms, shins and headcrest.

Wonderfest Fallen: Clear tinted orange plastic, plus coloured transparent fins on the arms, shins and headcrest.
