This one was easy for me to vote for... Warring At Play/Prime Time.

I'm just surprised that there are only two crossovers that were nominated.

Same here. But that just means that whichever does win, REALLY deserves it, as the votes won't be divided amoung so many different entrants.

Voted. I'm thinking we need to do a lot more crossovers here.

There were a number of other crossovers in 2010, besides these. Transformers Nexus crossed over with Blurry Robot Theater, with some crossover-overlap with TSW&F, since Tsugaru was in it. :)  Doomprime's House of Insanity has had a crossover with Fez's Half-Randomness for a long time, which occasionally breaks out in Fez's comic (the sniper, for instance, was hired by Mysterious Shadowy Figures from DP Country).

Sharktibolt has also had long-standing crossover stories going, and Mis-Transwarped is a spinoff series. (How cool is that, that this forum generates its own fanfiction? :D ) Sage o' G. also starred in Murphy's Lawl, and I'm sure there's more that I'm forgetting to remember.

I think more would have been nominated, given more time. It takes a while to find these crossovers and mine the images. I know I wasn't able to get my submissions in, before the deadline. Next year, maybe we could think about allowing a week for nominations.

I can't believe I've missed all these. In fact, PrimeTime/WaP is the only crossover I've actually seen on here. I need to expand my horizons!

Yeah, I think it's kinda strange that I didn't get more nominations. I kept the nominations open for the prescribed amount of time, but I only got a few nominations in total.

I keep thinking that I did something wrong, but as I look over the instructions, all I screwed up with was I started a bit late and ended a bit late.

I think it's pretty obvious which crossover is going to win...

The very few number of choices are so sad. Especially now that I've read Autobus's post and now realize that there were actually quite a few crossovers running around here.

Well, I'm sure we can see about redoing it. A lot of people that are commenting on the lack of selection didn't nominate anyone, I noticed. I posted a nomination thread on the first, kept it open for the allotted two days, then made a couple poll threads, which are timed to be open the allotted amount of time.

Would you guy like to do a mulligan on this? Yes/No?

    Re: do-over?

I don't mind you redoing it, but I don't think it'll really change anything. You & Pol would most likely still win that poll too.

& if the peolpe who are complaining about there just being 2 didn't contribute to increasing that number, then I don't really see the point. Maybe take a poll of the Crossover comic creators, & see what THEY think? If the ones who should've been nominated but weren't think you did it fair, & don't think a revote is needed, then I wouldn't.

I think you did everything on your end right. I know on one of the other nominations, whoever was running it put out a quick "we need more nominations!" post, or something to that nature. Other than that, there wasn't anything you could really do.

I'm kinda torn as well. I tend to think that the one in the lead now would likely win out, like Keith is saying. But at the same time, if people really want a do-over, I don't see it as a bad idea. (though not an actual "poll"--maybe just a general yes/no response right here)

At least this gets everyone to think about nominating. Even if you think someone else might nom the same thing, put it out there just in case.

And Warring At Play/Prime Time wins.

Unless it's unanimously decided that we should do a do-over.

That was a landslide. Congratulations Pol & Chaos!

I still think if anyone should decide if this was fair & needs a redo, it should be the Creaters of the Crossovers themselves.

& aside from starting late, it was otherwise run like all the others.

I don't mind if a redo happens (I still think WaP would win), but the question is who should decide if one is needed?

Who knows, maybe everyone wanted to nominate Warring at Play, & that's why noone else made it in, in which case, WaP would win again anyway.

If we have a redo here, do you think the Funniest Moment should get one as well for just getting three nominations?

That would be the fair thing to do, since both comics started late & got few nominations.

I guess I'll do this, so there's a proper announcement:
    Due to lack of Nominations,
Best Crossover & Best Funniest Moment
    are being REDONE

Send Nominations to Chaos Incarnate via PM.

    Include:
    The comic you're nominating,
    for what catagory,
& panels to put up for the nomination.

The 2 who were nominated the first go will remain in this new vote.

I'm not sure, but Nominations may close tomorrow.

I defer back to Ironhide2005. I already opted out of the award process. Maybe Keith Prime can do it.
