there is Matrix design on the Masterpiece New soundbase,so it is almost sure the new masterpiece is HotRod or Rodimus Prime.

 

That Sound Stage is a repaint of the base that came with the Hasbro Classics Masterpiece Optimus Prime DVD Edition. Very nice for those that want it and don't want the Hasbro Prime.

 

what a fantastic way to celebrate the anniversary, they are doing a super job.

the mystery indeed does thicken 3points each... bigger than the planets, smaller than Prime with Trailer.... would that be a standard MP figure?

I'm expecting Rodimus, but the other could be Schematics Megatron? (which I'd buy in a shot!)

Well it would work with the whole Sons of Cybertron theme. I would be shocked if it is not Rodimus.

 

Sweet news, confirmation at last (of a new mp mould at least), I guess the other 3pt item must be another MP repaint. Maybe Megs in black, I dunno, I've got all the MP's I want except Grimlock.

Re: The base, it's sweet, I want one. Is it being packed with the new MP?

Also, it's tokyo toy show next month I think, perhaps they'll be announcing this new MP there.  

 

At this rate this "2010 Campaign Item" won't be released until 2011.

Forget the clear seekers, let's see a boxed set with all of the Animated Seekers with full paint apps... and include the Thrust and Dirge, who had animation models but never made the cut into the show...

 

You need 10 campaign points in order to get that sound stage.

 

Damn I hope they don't pull a screw job and release that 3pack mentioned in the other thread as an MP "set" or something stupid. Uhg.

 

Ah, well I won't be getting one then. I only want the new MP, probably.

What are the names listed on those other two seekers...?

 

I am still sad that the clear classics Rodimus is packaged with that crappy deluxe prime, but I guess they can't really release it with the clear voyager version since we already got that as an exclusive. Really wish I had bit on that Unicron remold.
