What? No! Wow!
Wow wow wow wow!!!!!!!!! You sir, have won TFW.
this is outreagusly awesome
OMG That is so beautiful!
My head just exploded. Now I'm dead.
This guy needs to be making stuff for the movies!!
Can it give a rough approximation of flipping the bird?
Now all we need is a 1:1 scale life-size version of Barricade to go along with this awesome Frenzy!
You mean this isn't close enough?
Love it Shane. You're truly a master at the craft man. You never cease to amaze.
Purposeful or not, wearing the Soundwave shirt in the photo-shoot was a nice touch too
This is amazing! Really 100% one of a kind Prop replica amazing! Wow. Very nice and clean paintjob also. I can't wait for it to show up in that Barricade. Will you please post some pics when that time comes? Really stunning!
Epic has been redefined.
bravo good sir, bravo
if ever there was a time for the slow clap .gif it would be now
hope the customer shares some photo's of him with the mustang and you get to post them as well. Amazing work and I dig the shirt as well nice jab
Yep this one is a labor of love, blood, sweat, tears & lots of caffeine in the final 2 weeks. Amazingly enough I didn't cut myself one time on all the sheetmetal & aluminum-points it's got on it, don't know how I managed that....
I'll be happy just to get paid! Yep, 5 months working on & off with a deadline. Just under 5 months, I started in early April.
Thanks man he's def a work or art.
It can only get better from here on!
Just don't fall over on this thing, it'll crucify ya!
Thanks man, it was SO much hard work, particularly in the final 2 weeks when I started approaching burn-out...that's when it's the hardest to persevere.
This was actually commissioned by the guy in Canada that's got the 4 TF-replica-cars Barricade, 2007 Bumblebee, Beaterbee & the G1 Prowl that he just finished. He will be displaying Barricade with Frenzy in upcoming conventions & car-shows.
Actions speak louder than words, thanks!
It's insane that I took on this project, but the end-result justified everything.
Yep, it's quite a sight to behold, so strange to see this thing standing in my living-room all of a sudden.
I'll take that, lol
Good ta know somebody does, lol
You do realize nothing on here is totally movie-accurate....as a matter of fact, I took many liberties of my own to change things as I saw fit to make it work structurally, plus there were many spots I couldn't make out in ANY of the few reference-pics I had so I had the luxury to improvise.
Yep, pretty much the closest thing to the actual movie-prop. I think mine's a tad-bit taller though, I believe the movie-prop is around 4-feet, whereas mine is roughly about 5-feet, but the neck is totally adjustable up, down & pivotal.
This one I would indeed consider art rather than just a custom-figure, good-Lord the work that went into this conundrum....
That means & says a lot, thanks!
Thanks man I really appreciate that!
Yep, it happened right here in this cramped 1-bedroom apartment.
Well, now I gotta outdo this one someday, somehow.... but thanks!
Thanks for checking out the finished-product!
It looks even better in person, can't wait to see him paired up with the client's Barricade!
It is indeed VERY shiny, an eye-full in person for sure. Did some touch-ups on him today, there were a couple of gold highlighting I forgot on his forehead tubing-trim, looks great.
I'm sure I died a few times while building this thing, as I didn't get much sleep towards the end, but sometimes sacrifices gotta be made! -And you can bet I had more than a few drinks after it was done.
Thanks for the compliment, but I don't think that's quite my cup o' tea...I prefer to work by myself. It's tough doing everything yourself sometimes though, it can be overwhelming.
