Except, David defeated Goliath by hitting him in the fore-head with a sling-shot, so the fight would be sorta anti-climactic.

I don't mind the scale, I think it's better to have two robots of equal size fighting then a diminuative hero vs towering foe.

Looks awesome. I do wish they'd given him differant, smaller arms so more fuselage could have been put into the legs to make them chunkier.

I wish they would've given him normal hands instead of the missle launchers. Both modes would've looked so much better.

Both modes seem to have a lot of failings. His alt mode doesn't seem as smooth as some others, it looks disjointed and kibbly. Robot mode is growing on me but I'm really put off by the width of his shoulders, the legs don't bother me so much I just wish he wasn't so bulky looking. His face is terrible as well, even Megatron's crazy face grew on me but Screamer's is terrible, I just hope it's better on the screen.

Something of note, dunno if it's been mentioned yet. I figured out a possible reason behind his robot mode aesthetics.

    Birdman!

He has bird legs, wing-like lats, and his enormous arms would represent wingspan if held out.

I don't think it worked much in that respect, but it struck me as an explanation for his oddities. :D

Loving the transformation on that toy though. Man, the movie Voyagers are serious engineering evolution.

There was a rumor on the boards that I read saying that he actualy does perch atop things like a bird.

Eh. Scale's not bothering me too much. Besides, you can get yourself a few of the movie LOCs and those'll be pretty close to being in scale with Blackout and Starscream.

Mostly what I think. It don't look real good in alt-mode (especially when you see it with Ratched, wich is much more smooth). Bot mode looks fine with legs extended like that, but meh, I don't dig the design that much so the toys can't do anyting about it.

    But great photos anyway :thumb

The lack of hands is the only thing left that is putting me off about this figure. I'm not one of those "I NEED HANDS ON MY TFs" people but something about this guy's arms looks stubby without fingers.

Thanks for the photos. Still the least impressive design of the main group to me. Whenever I look at it, I keep thinking that's what Crumplezone would be if there was a fourth installment of the A-E-C trilogy.

Well, he does have fingers. Problem is that the gunbarrels extend way past them, so they aren't really good for anything except aesthetics.

Man, I love that robot mode. But the jet...

I'll have to see it in person. I usually stay away from figs with only one good mode, but in this case the bot mode is REALLY good.
