The Mirage doesn't seem out of the realm of possibility so much, but that Ratchet does seem a bit crazy.
Henkei Ligier's been hovering around that range for awhile now. Henkei Ratchet...Nah, that's overpriced!
Oh really? Man, I remember selling my Henkei Mirage back in May for $40. He's going for around $100 now? Sheesh.
I've been looking for the Henkei Ratchet and Ironhide too. But at that price its not gonna happen. Even Smokescreen is a near $100!!
Hmmm... Res Alert seems to be under produce or heavily bought up! I missd out on that too but I actually liked the Hasbro version more. I'm surprise Takara has no plans to rereleased more Henkeis!?
No because the mold is awful. I honestly don't think it could ever entice me for anything less than free.
For the going rate now, yes. If you like the character a lot, I would get the figure for your classics/ironhide collection. If you're only interested in ironhide to add some depth to your classics autobots, I would skip it.
LOL, I hear ya there. I've never understood the fascination with that mold. It's gotta be one of the 5 worst molds from the Classics styled TFs.
Personally, I still don't get the whole Henkei thing. Yeah, I realize they have nicer paint apps and better quality control, but the price hike on those figures just isn't worth it to me. I am perfectly happy with my sub-par, poor paint app, crappy quality control hasbro classics
Well the original Henkei, unlike United, had a lot of chrome too...and honestly they were every bit worth their going rate at the time, usually between $15-$20 for Deluxe figures and $25-$35 for Voyager figures. It is unfair to knock them for price hike when comparing them to the United prices or after market prices.
Apparently you missed the Henkei Ratchet that sold for £138 ($222). What the hell is wrong with these people?
