I know there's some NFL fans on the boards here, and I'm surprised nobody's brought up this news:

Agent: 2 NFL players among Fla. missing boaters

The missing players are Detroit's Corey Smith and Oakland's Marquis Cooper.

You sure? I was just watching NBC Nightly News, and they didn't say that they were found yet.

That sucks, but all I can say is, at least it wasn't any of the Giants, then it would be a real tragedy

Yeah, I just saw the article on Yahoo. It sounds like this was not the boat the NFL players were on, though.

 

maybe the lochness monster went on vacation.

 

Local radio says the person that survived was one of two college players from South Florida. The other one and the two NFL players are still missing.

I've yet to see any other sources confirm that, though.

 

the thing that makes me crack up the most is that the only thing they aren't telling us is what the survivor said happened.

 

ESPN is reporting that now via ESPNradio. It is sad, really, cause you kinda knew yesterday that this wouldn't end well. Boat is capsized with only one survivor. They are now looking for the bodies   I hate to hear that.
