I've been wanting to do this for a while now, so here it is MY G1 Prime homage. Nothing done to the Bot mode, aside from the yellow arrow on the fore arms, so I'm not going to show that. All I did here was follow and mask off the natural lines of the mold. I like how the front termination point comes to a point like the grey stripes on the
G1 Cab... so here it is

After taping it off, I used an undercoat of grey primer and layed a Rust-Olium Metallic silver stripe in several light coats to prevent dripping. Feed back is ALWAYS welcomed

Very cool. Looks like you did a good job on the silver stripes. Nice work!
Now you just need to do the bot mode.

Aside from the Vents on the legs, and the arrows on on the arms, what other G1 style custom repaints should I do?

Sweet. I like that. Now all it needs is a big trailer with a turret and a smaller blue cart thingy named Roller to go with it. Nice work. Peace out.

the G1 Roller actually fits in Alt Prime's truck bed. It's a tight fit but it works.

I think a good roller would be a four-wheeler painted up blue to put in the back of the pickup.

    Great looking paint job.

Well you don't have to do anything, but you could paint the leg covers blue and the thighs silver. That's what I did on mine.

there's a drawing done by a board member in the gallery (don't worry it'll be reopening soon ;) ) of a Orion pax... it was a pickup truck pulling a pop-up camper. The camper was grey with the classic blue stripes that are found on Prime's trailer. if you found a model pop-up camper and did that to pull behind your dodge, that'd just be all kinds of drool-worthyness.

    Very nice!

All this talk of various trailers, though, makes mw wish they had taken my old idea of making a boat-former and trailer for Prime to tow. Easy way to expand the line and introduce guys like Seaspray...

Looks really crisp. I'll have to echo the idea about putting a blue 4-wheeler in the bed, that'd be just perfect.

Instead of the four-wheeler, do this: Get a horse trailer the same scale, paint it silver, then get a horse for the trailer and paint him blue.

He can be Trotter instead of Roller....
