I clicked the "BUY IT NOW" button (but obviously didn't commit) just to feel the half-assed rush of doing something utterly stupid.

Wasn't there a thread on this exact figure in the toy section several weeks ago?

The inner dick in me wishes to buy it, and open it at Botcon or something. Something so lovely should be free.

:lol  I love all the "not news" comments esp when the OP is a super mod and on the news staff. If he says it's news then it's news.

As for Wheeljack, that thing is beautiful. Were that Thundercracker... I would be sorely tempted.

Sorely tempted to ask a question on the auction "Hi can you please open? Would like to see robot mode."

I've been told that original "real-deal" figs were encased in styrofoam packaging, not the molded plastic bubble like this one is in. Am I wrong?

The Takara G1 releases were in Styrofoam. The US releases had plastic bubbles mounted on cardboard.

It's too hard to tell if that gray between the picture of Wheeljack and the window is gray cardboard or a trick of the light on the cellphane. I'd wager it's cardboard, and the thing is a KO. And that asking price is TOO HILARIOUS! :lol

This would perfect my collection, but I'd rather buy an actual car. :lol

That poor bastard will never unload that thing for $12,000. If he does, then the buyer's gotta love Wheeljack... I'd rather buy a KO or a semi-acceptable, age showing, complete original lol.

My god. How does one keep a figure from '84 is 100 AFA Grade condition. That thing must have been stored away since the day it was packaged.

$12,000? That is just damn crazy. You can buy an actual car for that much. A nice one too.
