    hey guys ,

    Digging through my collection.

This was one of my first , If remember correct I got it for christmas in 1983

Any benifit to owning this one versus later made ones ?

Do collectors look for these early takara toys versus the ones from 84 that say hasbro and takara on them .

Uh, what toy is that? Simply because it says 1980/82 on it doesn't mean it's more valuable.

Plus, Primus didn't even EXIST in the original G1 toyline. His first toy was a Lucky Draw gold chrome Rodimus Prime, which you can't possibly have if you left it lying around since you got it almost 30 years ago.

The 1980-82 also likely refers to when the molds were made, as many of the original transformers toys come from older lines (in this case, likely Diaclone). So most of the first lines of transformers would likely have a similar stamp, and thus it shouldn't affect the value much.

If you want us to give you a better idea, you might as well post a picture of the actual toy, since it's almost certain that it's not Primus.

You might also want to make a single thread for your "hey I have this from when I was a kid is it worth a lot of money" questions instead of making a new one every couple of days. It would save some time, most likely.

    edit: ^^^ Good catch, Foster.

yes its a prime , sorry for the typo.

Not really caring about its value so much as collectability.

This is one of the few that I actually care to keep thats not still in the box with all the paper work.

So i see its nothing special , thanks
