We received the following from board member Rquiem, who received this from First4Figures (makers of the SD Ultra Magnus statue).

I think most expected that we'd never see the light of day on many of their announced statues and busts, but it looks like there is at least some hope that they'll release the Ravage/Baroness statue.

Yup, that's the same response I received when I emailed them a few days ago. This is awesome news. I've been waiting a long time for that statue. I hope it can be released.

Huh. It's a pretty cool statue.

Kind of strange that they announced so freaking many busts etc but never really made any.

It was really a shame that we never saw a release for their statues. F4F was and still is one of the most friendly licensees I have ever had the pleasure of talking to and working with. Plus most of their busts and statues were fantastic designs.

Yeah, no kidding. Have you seen their Phazon Suit Samus statue that is due out later? That thing is a masterpiece.

    Check it out: https://www.first4figures.com/component/option,com_myphp/Itemid,3/product,67/

    thats amazing!

Wonder if they could add those to Transformer statues aswel. Just because some are canceld doesnt mean they dont have a license anymore, or that there wont be new ones.
I just hope this TF/GIJOE continues, just not devils due versions but more G1-ish (o8 versions allowed) with realistic current day joes :D .

I always keep up of F4F. They were truly a a great bunch of guys who loved the licenses they acquired. And not only that, they actually "got" those fandoms.

New GI Joes would rock. I wouldn't mind highly-detailed, full body statues of Joe characters.

I had long assumed as much, but still very disappointing. The planned lineup for their Beast Wars busts was fantastic. Cheetor, Depthcharge, Dinobot, Megatron, Optimal Optimus, Optimus Primal, Rattrap, Ravage, Rhinox, Scorponok, Terrorsaur, Waspinator...

In what way did you work with them, if you don't mind me asking?

Lack of retailer support. Nowadays, the stores pretty much tell companies (like Hasbro & First-4-Figures) what they want and what they will sell. Back then, it was the companies that would tell the stores what to carry and sell.

This is how we lost the Universe Seacons, when no store would carry it as an exclusive product, only to then finally have them released through the Official Transformers Collector's Club.

If support picks up, then maybe we'll see the statues and busts again. But as of now, no.

Aww, that's a damn shame. Those were pretty swank... I hope they'll be reintroduced again at some point and have them as exclusives at least. I woulda bought the hell out of some of those.

I can't really comment on what I worked on/with them on. It wouldn't be fair to them and could get me in trouble with the big H or F4F. But I did organize the TFW2005 contest with them.

Here's an image of the unreleased Battlefield statue I designed for First4Figures. Obviously it is BW Megatron vs. Rhinox.

I agree with Joe. They were great to work with. They provided some excellent comments while I was working on this and really allowed me freedom of artistic impression. The character choice was theirs and the basic pose but they didn't put any real limitations on what designs I had to use for reference.

I would have loved to continue working with them.

Stuff looks nice, but I hadn't planned on getting them anyway. Sorry for those who want them.

No offense but it seems kind of strange for Megs to be shoving his entire dinohead-hand through Rhinox's chest. I would have thought his point sharp tail thing would have been better suited for the job.
