Slick. His 'bot mode would look cool with that on the chest. Wonder what other mods are made to the vehicle that may impact the 'bot mode.
dont know if it has been mentioned in here, but GM already dropped the 505hp Z/28. Only camaro and "SS" will be put into production
I love it. The sharper angles on the new front end are more reminiscent of Firebird Styling than Camaro, though. Also, As much as I love the car and seeingit in the movie(s), I still wish it represented a bot other than bumblebee. Move 'bee is the only incarnation of the character to be a sports/muscle car, unless you count his recent tuner incarnations as sport autos. IMO, Bumblebee would have been better suited to the Chevy Beat or Pontiac Vibe, and the Camaro could've gone to a more suited (compared with past incarnations) character like Sunstreaker, Sideswipe, or even Hot Rod. But it's all about cross promotion, and bumblebee is a character kids do/will love, so he gets the slick wheels. I'm hoping the Silver 'Vette is a new character, but like others have said, I can't see there being two silver autobots, assuming Jazz returns as his old alt mode. I'm not 100% feeling this car as a new jazz. My head would explode if Jazz was reborn as a white Porsche Cayman.
"If the Autobots are supose to be Robots in disguise, why are they disguised as vehicles that are not in production? Wouldn't that just give them away?" UDMan @ jalopnik So true...
What do people think of the chances of Hasbro coming up with a new deluxe Bumblebee for the sequel? I mean they've produced so many repaints of the concept camaro mold already, who needs another, right? Although they did get it pretty perfect the first time, it would be hard to top. They could just remold the bumper, but if that requires large numbers of expensive new factory molds, maybe they'll go all the way. Might be cool if they could make his arm transform into a gun instead of having a separate weapon, and they could get rid of or come up with a less finicky automorph. Well, I dunno if that'd be a good thing or not, a fresh mold would be better than buying another variation the same figure yet again, but there's probably better things to devote a new mold to. On the other hand, I reckon there's a fairly good chance of getting a new legends Concept Camaro mold. There was none first time around, and as legends go, the classic camaro version was godawful.
It was. I've even seen other people repost the news here in the News forum, but it never got reposted on the frontpage.
