WCW vs NWO Revenge, Extreme-G, Ocarina of Time, Star Wars: Rogue Squadron and an amazing port of Resident Evil 2.
The start of Nintendo's downfall; Really the only games I liked for it was Shadows of the Empire, Rogue Squadron?, Cruisin World
Back in the Summer before its release, companies like Blockbuster had kiosks that you could play. At the time I worked as a stockman for a Walmart, being one of my first jobs at the age of 16, that had a Blockbuster in its parking lot. So, one of my main jobs was to go out and gather karts, and I would sneak into that Blockbuster and play it. I was totally floored by Super Mario 64. However, when I think of the system, I have a hard time even coming up with 10 games I liked. Mario 64, Ocarina of Time, Starfox 64, the first couple Mario Partys, Goldeneye, Waverace 64, Goemon 64, Shadows of the Empire and Pilotwings 64 are really all I liked a lot on the system. Granted, Mario and Zelda still stand as two the greatest games ever, but the system just didn't produce hit after hit for me. I will give credit that there were other games that were ok, but as far as ones that I kept and really liked, that was about it. At the time I was WAY more into JRPGs, and the N64 was a total bust for that. And really, NO Metroid! Shame on you, Nintendo.
Goldeneye and NWO Revenge... so many fights involving "you hit the analog"- "no I didn't" "dude I did ten powerbombs in a row, no way your guy would get up from that". In the end everyone just picked guys with moves that could TKO people because everyone used the analog (if you don't know what I mean byt "hitting the analog" you probably never played Revenge lol)
Not AS MANY memories with my N64 comapred to the SNES. But yeah....Ocarina, Goldeneye, and Mario 64 are spoken for...EPIC. Too bad we never got a Metroid game for her.
^ psssh. lon-lon. go milk a cow somewhere else. lol my kind of version Gerudo Valley Song metal version (by Mega Driver) - YouTube classic guitar original how many of you stayed in the valley just to hear the song over and over again? lol i know i did.
Virtual Pro Wrestling 64 = best professional wrestling game ever made. The game play was perfect, the graphics were awesome, the character create was amazing and uncomplicated, and it wasn't licensed so it had wrestlers from every major organization in the world, even had a bunch of MMA guys and wrestling legends. The US versions of the game were cool too (Both the WCW and WWF versions), but non of them could provide the endless amount of playability that Virtual Pro did. This game alone was enough for me to consider the N64 the best console I've ever owned!
