Don't forget to use bing for eBay cash back.

(One would think that if you wanted to sell something like this for that sort of price, then you'd take more than a couple of minutes to format your auction listing.)

Pure and utter insanity. I fear this will eventually become the standard for the collecting of this toyline. I realize they probably won't sell it at this price, but the trends I've been seeing are unsettling to say the least. Soon collecting AFA will be the exclusive realm of the super-rich.

Very nice piece! I'd be surprised if it sell 1/4 of the BIN though. Btw, half of his Headmasters have been mistakenly graded as genuine G1, but they lack the Takara copyright.

To be fair, they aren't exactly asking $13K, they are accepting offers...I've seen numerious auctions with this kind of starting price and sometimes sell for half or less than half of what the reserve was...

This would have easily fetched $7K+ a couple years ago, I'm guessing $4K-$6K now..Great piece, I wish I was still buying high end AFA G1 Transformers, I would have been all over this...

Sad to hear you aren't collecting anymore talip. I wonder in today's financial climate how much it would really sell for. I would say 4-5K. I doubt the seller would let it go for that much though.

Oh, I'm still collecting just not in the market for any high end AFA G1 Transformers...I also collect vintage AFA MOTU and Star Wars and unfortunately I have expensive taste and tend to cherry pick, so it gets expensive for me...

Having sold a lot of TFs over the past 2 years on ebay, this price is insanity to say the least. I know it's AFA graded 90 and looks fabulous, but the guy will never get that unless the economy picks up. If he is getting offers for half this, and needs the money now, he should take them, lol.

true enough, I don't buy AFAed figs so its no sweat off my back and personally it makes no sense to me that having some "expert" say a figure is top notch and put it in a clear plastic box and put a sticker on the box saying as it was graded makes its value skyrocket but hey to each there own.
