You can actually tell which Alt Mode is which in the box. There's like, a little dot or something on the list of them? I think?
Does that 72 Go-bots number include the Wendy's Go-bots? STA: Gobots: Wendy's Granted 50% of them were pretty dumb, but Odd Ball, Beamer & Breez look on par with some Go-bot figures.
I'm a little annoyed Gnaw is lumped with the Decepticons. Especially considering we know you get the choice with Megatron I really want to see some sort of sign of scale on MP Cheetus, because I heavily doubt he'll be in scale with anyone like Primal was.
No, 72 is the number of the 3 waves of regular sized retail GoBots, and it was mode like 71, since Snoop never saw release, even though she was #43. Also, the 2 decos of Leader-1 and Cy-Kill are counted twice since they each got individual numbers, so it's more like 69. On top of those 69 you need to count Monsterous, Puzzler, Super GoBots, Wendy's toys, Power Warriors, watches, bubble blowers, cap guns, Boomers, Power Marchers, etc.
Seth- I just moved to the States, and Go90 is ridiculously easy. I just downloaded the app from the app store, opened it, searched for "Transformers," and the show came up. Once it's done? I'll just delete it. Didn't have to sign up for anything. Vangelus- You keep going on about how this show isn't reflecting the current (fantastic) IDW comic. Think of it like this. This show is to the IDW ongoing what the IDW ongoing is to G1. It uses its concepts and setting, but is trying to do something unique with it. Windblade here doesn't reflect IDW Windblade perfectly because she's not IDW Windblade. She's Machinima CW Windblade. Also Seth...on Windblade and Victorian sounding religious. In IDW their homeworld is described as being a very religious colony. So it seems like Caminus' backstory is going to carry over from IDW at the very least.
You guys, I had no idea Megatron wings are stickered I'm highly disappointed. Wow, how that soured my anticipaton for that figure. Btw I believe the cockpit does open, like the whole nose and window open up. Better pic of Trigger-Happy Also, this guy, did I miss you guys talking about Kickback?
Funny thing is Hasbro actually wanted Ash to push the designs even further. They're really into the direction the Iron Man went and often reference that as to how far and how much more freedom we can take with the G1 line (and Joe and ROM). Ash doesn't want to stray too far from original designs – go too far and it's no longer that character, don't go far enough and it's lame. The hard part has been finding the balance. The G1 Prime from SDCC is an early painted proto, so some elements will change. Paintwork will be much more heavily weathered and the hands will be larger on the next version. Process wise I curate the line up with Ash, he does the design turns based on the animation models/box art/toys and then I head the development team in making sure the designs and details stay true to the characters. Same process will be used for Joe and ROM. Prime's rifle does peg into his hand because I'm a huge proponent of hand pegs, especially when then gun is that huge (G1 and DOTM). We'll be incorporating that into pretty much the whole line up for G1 for any handheld weaponry.
On the Marvel Legends front, they said a Daredevil is coming but they weren't ready to show him yet. And yes, the X-Men wave was a full case of 8, no repeat figures. I also have high hopes for that Darkhawk. Fingers crossed.
